MILAN have saved 14 Million with departures and reduced salaries.
According to Milannews.it Milan have saved about 14 Million euros on the renewal of the contract with the veterans. Also with the departure of Pirlo, Jankulovski, Papastathopoulos and Legrottaglie, the amount paid in salaries have been reduced.
The players which had their salaries cut and the ones that left accumulated in total amounting to 50 million. After contract renewals the total lowered to 24 million. But with the added salaries of Taiwo, Mexes, and Paloschi the total would be 14 Million euros. 14 Million that could come in handy when the market window will open in the summer.
The goal of Milan was to have a smaller budget for next year. Galliani and co. were able to achieve this and perhaps are planning to renew the Rossoneri squad with younger players.
As the summer market opens, Milan has began their reconstruction for the future of the Rossoneri squad.
