MARCO AMELIA would like to remain in Milanello.
The future of the goalkeeper is very uncertain and could be sorted out tomorrow when Milan CEO Adriano Galliani meets Genoa President Enrico Preziosi to speak about the co-ownerships between them.
Amelia arrived in Milan on loan this summer and failed to convince Massimiliano Allegri, and therefore played very little, seeing Christian Abbiati protecting the goal of the Rossoneri.
After playing, without a doubt, his best game since arriving to Milan, making some great saves and denying an Antonio Di Natale penalty, Amelia revealed that he would be happy to stay.
I hope to stay at Milan. It’s going to be a difficult negotiation between Preziosi and Mr. Galliani over all the co-ownership deals,” he said. “I’m waiting to see what happens and I’ll accept any kind of decision.”
