AC MILAN are said to be interested in Diego, but his agent says no contact has been made.
According to Sky Sport, Milan would be interested in signing Diego Ribas da Cunha aka Diego from VfL Wolfsburg this summer as an alternative to Kevin-Prince Boateng in the attacking midfielder role.
The Rossoneri said that Boateng will be the first choice trequartista next season and now they are only looking for alternatives, apparently making the former Juventus and Werder Bremen man a target.
Diego had a horrible year in Italy, playing for Juve last season. He joined them for €24.5 million and after disappointing, was sold for €15.5 million. However, the 26-year-old could join Milan for less than €10m.
“With Milan there is nothing concrete, because I have not spoken with the Rossoneri,” said the Brazilian’s agent, Giacomo Petralito. “The player is on vacation at the moment and he’ll be back in three weeks. We’ll meet with Wolfsburg and then we’ll see. But I repeat that we have had no contact with Milan.”
