MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI feels the Scudetto is closer than ever.
AC Milan are very close to clinching the Serie A title for the first time in seven years and next week, just like 7 years ago, the Rossoneri will have a chance to win it against A.S. Roma.
Milan need only one point in order to win the championship and with three games remaining to the end of the season, coach Massimiliano Allegri feels that the Scudetto is very close.

“Today’s victory takes us closer to the Scudetto,” Allegri told the Italian press after Milan’s 1-0 victory over Bologna today. “We’re lacking just one more point and will try to get it as soon as possible.
Mathieu Flamini scored early on but Milan suffered a lot. “It was not an easy game, as Bologna put pressure on us, especially as this sort of game involves a lot more tension than others. Now we will try to get the mathematics under lock and key so that we can focus on the Coppa Italia semi-final with Palermo.”
il Diavolo could have celebrated today but Inter won last night. It was indeed a tense night for both Milan and Inter fans as the Nerazzurri were trailing until the 91′ minute. Giampaolo Pazzini scored a brace then.
“Yesterday we went from a moment of joy for Inter’s imminent defeat or draw to a moment of bitterness, but we knew that we had to win today anyway. We did it and that’s all we need to focus on,” Allegri concluded.
I’ve stocked my fridge…ready to party on Saturday!
Good words by a great coach and tactician.
I hope we fight against Roma and get a point or three. But we also play Cagliari the game after that if all else fails.
Yes, I know there is bitterness over the way Inter cheated a win in that game. There should have been 3 minutes of added time, but the referee was a moron.
Still, we did the job today and we got 3 more valuable points.
We need to fight against Roma. They’ll be looking for that 4th Champions League spot that has been elusive for them.
“Good words by a great coach and tactician”– i just wonder where all those idiots are who were hating him. Namely “student” “nick” and some other people i forgot handles of. nevermind forza Milan.
I don’t really want to start another long war with them. Student is gone because Milan is nearly there. I don’t think he’ll ever come back when Milan lifts the scudetto.
FROZA MILAN!!!
YEAH JUST ONE!!
finally now we’re the best in Italy.
i would like to celebrate my birthday knowing milan have one the scudetttu
FORZA MILAN !!!!!
Great coach. I wish Mr Allegri more success. Hopefully he can build a legacy better than his precedesors: Sacchi, Capello, and Ancelotti. Milan really need another top class striker though as it is evident that when Pato and Ibra are out we cannot depend on Cassano or Robinho to supply the goals. Unbelievable! These two cannot score for sh!@! We need a player that can give 15-20 per season to challenge Ibra and Pato for the starting spot. Inzaghi is getting older and cannot be relied on to do this.Berreta is still young snd needs time to grow! Robinho and… Read more »
Understandable.
But there is a problem with this. Ibra and Pato are still there, and whoever we will buy will have to settle for a bench role. Ibra and Pato are starters. Would Matri be happy with a bench role where he would warm the bench most of the season?
Maybe we’ll get Hulk after all… as we were linked to him again in the press. But I’m not sure. The issue with Hulk is he is non-EU (sportmediaset said this).
Robinho and Cassano are second strikers. Not CFs.
Berretta looks more than capabable(Y)
I like Kevin Gameiro, he reminds me of Papin! I hope Milan get him! He is clinical and very good in one on one’s! Milan must consider this as Robinho and Cassano cannot do the job!
get the scudetto on Saturday and win the Coppa Italia match against Palermo, Milan!! forza Milan!!
Sign Balotelli.
Balotelli is more of a 2nd striker to me. I doubt he will score double digit goals in a season. Milan need a classic CF like Inzaghi. Kevin Gameiro is a natural goal poacher who is very fast and good with both feet. He is also good in the air! He will score double digit goals in a season.
Allegri’s certainly not a great manager. He’s a average tactician though.
Allegri is a great tactician :) And a great manager :)
So delusional man…haha
rossonero23: Than u prefer leonardo who has been outclassed by Allegri…Allegri is one of the brightest of italy’s mind…moronn
Where have I said I prefer Leo?
Both of them are terrible.
would a terrible manager and tactician win you the scudetto, 8 points clear of inter, on his first year with players who just came in the same time he did?
Tasotti should be coach when allegri is sacked..
Why would Allegri be sacked?
Hope Allegri content with the youth stock we had. Just get Pirlo & Seedorf’s replacements and one decent left back
