FILIPPO INZAGHI knows that his return is close but makes no deadlines.

Inzaghi’s season has been rather unlucky as early this year he picked up a serious knee injury which ruled him out for the most of the 2010/2011 campaign. But now, he looks set to return.

“I do not make deadlines but I hope to return at Easter and I have to thank the fans who keep up my enthusiasm,” the striker told Studio Sport XXL.

Abate: ‘I hope Ronaldo comes to Milan’
Thiago Silva: ‘Mexes will help us a lot’

Easter takes place at April 24 this year, on day before this holiday, Milan take on Brescia. The interview continued and Pippo was asked about Manchester City controversial star Mario Balotelli.

“Would I like Balotelli at Milan? Yes, I would: here, he would have many positive examples and with him I’d like to see my friend Kaka,” Inzaghi, who turns 38 in August added.

The former Juventus man also spoke about Coach Massimiliano Allegri and forward Alexandre Pato.

“Allegri from day one has sought dialogue with the players and he reminds me of Ancelotti in his way. Pato? I was playing at his age in Serie D, he’s been playing in Milan four years now,” he concluded.
