Galliani tells Genoa: ‘Beretta is yours for €10mil + the other half of Boateng’

ADRIANO GALLIANI has told Genoa that it would cost 10 million + Boateng to get Beretta.

Giacomo Beretta may be only 19, but is already wanted by many clubs in Italy, as he’s been in a fine form this year for Milan’s Primavera; yesterday he scored four goals in Milan’s 5-0 victory.

Genoa C.F.C. President Enrico Preziosi has shown interest in the young attacker, but Milan CEO Adriano Galliani sets a pretty high price for the youngster, who scored one unofficial goal for Milan’s senior side.

“For €10 million and the other half of Kevin [Prince Boateng], the kid is yours,” Galliani jokingly told Preziosi as reported by the Rome-based newspaper il Corriere dello Sport.

Kevin-Prince Boateng is currently co-owned by Milan and Genoa but Milan are expected to sign him permanently for a reported fee of €7 million after his good performances this season.

Mr Galliani why? We sold half of Paloschi and now Beretta? This is the same thing that happen to Matri. Unbelievable!

arya

yes you right he could be another player who is sold and forgotten and why dont they just put odumadi out and beretta and verdi too in simple but very effective

Milan

Dude, it says galliani said jokingly, he didn’t actually mean it

ben

its a blessing and a curse having so much fire power.. with ibra(29), pato(21), robinho(27), and cassano(28) we are pretty much set for about 4 years.. how long can berretta and verdi and possibly paloschi wait for their chances =/ i hope next season they feature more, inzaghi is also extending.. loan moves might be helpful but i hate co ownership deals.. does anyone know at what age they are inelligible for primavera squad? is it 21?

SupaPippo

I don’t buy it. Probably Galliani said this cause he knows Genoa won’t put out that kinda cash plus other half of Boateng for Beretta :) Beretta will probably stay with us and will be used as a backup and i have a feeling someone from first team attack will departure. We’ll see…

James

I have a feeling Cassano will be gone next year, and I can all but promise you if Robinho’s finishing in front of the six yard box doesn’t improve, he’ll be sidelined. We WILL be seeing a few new faces on the attacking line up at some point next season.

Shervin

If Ganso comes, you wont see robinho unless ganso breaks his leg. Robinho could of scored 30 goals at least this season

guys, dont take Galliani in the wrong way. He knew Berretta’s quality.. 10m+ the other half of a player such as Boateng’s quality has shown how good is Beretta in Galliani’s eyes. Around 17m for a primavera is a crazy price! haha even if Milan sell him, we still get the profit. Remember talented young players are not always be a star (F.Coco, Commandini and many others are the sample)
there is no certainty and with that money we can buy back Paloschi

chris

galliani won’t do it, hes not stupid enough. Berreta, Verdi, Pato and Balotelli are the future of the milan attack.

Giancarlo

He was joking when he said it! Some of you take things too seriously lol… Beretta nor Boateng are going anywhere. Both will remain in Milan. You guys need to learn the difference between a joke and something serious.

chris

Ballotelli? Are you kidding me? Do we need to appear on some mug shots or what? Because that`s the only thing his good for, apparently. I don’t know anything relevant about his achievements as a player except negative trash (and I have watched Man City games) we already have those type of issues with IBRA but at least he`s good, BALLOTELLI SUCKS!!! I am glad that Mr. Berlusconi feels the same way he`s just not worth it.

Alessandro

This is impossible… Does anyone believe that Genoa will actually pay 10 mil + the other half of boateng for a reserve player? He is very very talented but that’s something impossible… Good Joke though… haha

david murati

they better not sell berreta, he is one of the most talented youngsters in a.c. milan and selling him would be a big mistake. i hope he is joking, soon ibra will leave and maybe robinho and cassano, and berreta and the other youngsters are gonna replace them,

Dejan Jovanoski

i hope that Galliani will sell Ibra for some cash so we can purchase some good attacking midfielder.
