“We know Fernando very well, but I don’t want to say too much about him as this is not the right time to discuss our transfer policy. He’s a definitely a player we’re closely monitoring though,” AC Milan Sporting Director Ariedo Braida told the press today.
The Brazilian has turned into a key player at Porto since joining them in 2007. He is tied to a contract until 2014 so Porto wouldn’t let him go cheaply.

We are also monitoring Aquilani’s situation at Juventus. We may step in. Now imo he may as well be Pirlo’s heir (BUT I DONT WANT HIM TO LEAVE, HE’S STILL 31, AND HAS A FEW GREAT YEARS IN HIM STILL). @TJ56…I didnt understand as well why some sites stated that Fernando is Pirlo’s heir. as you mntioned he is more of Guttuso. I’ve seen him play in the Champions League and he is really good. Jucilei is another good defensive midfielder. I hope Milan dont make the mistake and sell Pirlo. Pirlo is a champion and the team needs his creative genius. Exactly, a winning team is not all about young players (Arsenal, as you mentioned), or new players (Man City), or not to include ‘old’ players. I agree, a winning team is a balance of experience, young players and new players integrated as one. Pirlo must not leave, no matter how much he earns, he’s a champion.
Let´s trade Ibra to Man City for Dzeko or Ballotelli.

Lucas plays more in the wings, Taiwo comes for free, so… Boateng and Strasser can make a very good defensive midfield and Merkel has all to be man behind the striker (Pato) with Robben and Lucas helping from the wings.

I actually saw a couple of Ganso’s games and skills and he reminds me a lot of Hernanes. Something like “good but no great”. My personal opinion is that Eden Hazard its a better “10”. He will be, anywhere and anytime now a champion. Check him out if you haven’t :) Explosive start, great vision, fast pace… but like TJ56 said, its a shame he wasn’t linked with us so far. Pippo – That is a brilliant comment, and scrolling down, you were right. This always amazes me. I watch lots of European football, but frequently theres players mentioned here that everyone seems to know everything about. Maybe im stupid, or maybe people get a bit over excited about players too soon.
Saying that, i broke my golden rule with Ganso, and watched his youtube compilation video to see what he is like – and he looks very very good. :-)
As a play maker obviously Ganso is considered one of the best right now, the other would be Christian Erikson from Ajax. Remelo Lukaku CF and Hazard as MD/winger. All these players are young imagine them playing in Milan together. We will defiantly have paste then. Anyways we can all put our wish list as we like but you never know what may happen. I think Remelo can partner with Pato with no problems.. Forza Milan
i don’t understand why milan need to reinforce for DM? rather than spending money for a DM, why don’t we try papa sokratis to play as a DM? besides, milan also have strasser and montelongo. what a waste.
my suggestion is to use the funds wisely for a creative AM. hazard is an option but he has extended his contract with lille. if milan cannot get hazard or another creative AM, i hope milan can train merkel to be the next oezil. i am afraid that milan expect too much from kaka’s return.
I would prefer more Moussa Sissoko.
