No rest: Ibrahimovic to play against Bari

22

ZLATAN IBAHIMOVIC is likely to play tomorrow against Bari, and will not get a much-needed rest.

Ibrahimovic is very tired and it affects the Rossoneri’s game, as he doesn’t work as hard and is not as mobile as he could be when fresh.

Milan take on A.S. Bari tomorrow, who are last in the standings, with very little chances to survive in Serie A, but Ibra is still expected to play from the start.

Preziosi tells Milan: ‘No discounts for Boateng’

Milan have a chance to extend their gap at the top of the table to seven points, after Inter failed to beat Brescia on Friday night and coach Massimiliano Allegri wants his Sweden on the pitch at San Siro.

Ibrahimovic is expected to start alongside Alexandre Pato and Robinho. This trident hasn’t proved effective in recent games, but Allegri sticks with them, keeping Antonio Cassano on the bench.

this is crazy. Robinho-Pato-Cassano is more than capable.

for christ’s sake: rest him!
would be very interesting how robinho, pato (as CF) and cassano perform.
after all it would be wise to rest ibra since we play against a rather ppor team at home…

He is signed for playing not for resting…he and Pato should understand each other perfectly…

He should rest without a doubt. It’s not like we don’t have a suitable replacement! Cassano is more than capable to fill his role. Robinho should be rested as well. Maybe a trio of Merkel-Cassano-Pato can do the job. Even though we cannot underestimate our opponents, but come on, it’s Bari (no offense), I believe the squad CAN do without Ibra.

According to Milannews, we are doing to Urby what we did to Abate, gearing him up for a fullback position (LB). If that works out, we may not need a new LB in the summer. If his pace and dribbling are to be combined with defending skills similar to that of Abate now, we have a real dangerous LB on our hands, lets see how that progresses.

, he always played as a LB at Ajax, he can also play as a left winger…

And I really do not understand why Zlatan should get rest. After Chievo’s game they had 1 day rest. 8 days later we played against Napoli. He also got his rests against other teams. Personally I think Zlatan is not the best player at Milan, and Allegri should just give him a rest. Allegri should give other people a chance like Giacomo Beretta.

Ibra surely needs some rest , he must be so tired after all the standing and watching he did at White Hart Lane.

He will rest after the season is over. He gets paid big bucks so he needs to play. And obviously he agrees to play, otherwise he would tell his coach to rest him.

This is stupid he’s 29 and he played almost every game since he arrived he feels tired and we saw that on game vs Totenham and Juventus Ibra is good but he lacks in big games and he’sometimes lazy and because that l would love to see Andriy Yarmolenko(Dynamo Kiev) instead him he’s only 21 and he’s fast talented good body balance tehnique and team work and we could bring him for 15-18 or less .

We are team that plays team football if we depend on Ibra we won’t get far next season. So it’s better to buy this dude from Dynamo Kiev and bring Paloschi back and lam sure that they will cooperate fine with Pato who’s miserable since Ibra arrived and don’t feel comfortable playing on wing or behind him.

Ibra gets paid a lot of money. What’s the issue here? I see other players his age play 45-50 games a season very intensively. Ibra must play this match. I mean Pato was absolutely poor against Tottenham… why play him? I think Pato should be dropped in favor of Cassano. Sorry, but why play favorites? TJ56, As far as Emanuelson… maybe. Maybe not. I remember Galliani saying he was bought as a midfielder. I talked with some Ajax fans on the Bigsoccer.com website, and they said he often blacks out defensively… and is very poor positioning in LB. In fact,… Read more »

People! Without Ibra, AC is nowhere near the top of the Serie A: a study shows that he has been involved in roughly 75% of their goals–scoring them, assisting them. He is by far the best player on their roster–by far, who are you all kidding?–but cannot always win games on his own, especially not late in the season, when his big body (he is a large man) begins to tire…. He is getting no decent service up top from a midfield that can play defense but does not know how to pass forward, vertically, with any imagination. Ibra himself… Read more »

Agreed on the points about Ibra. He is a vital player. But Abate has been sending in numerous great crosses the last few games… he’s consistently improving with his crossing, and has been extremely good in defending. Abate is a great player.

Bigsoccer.com is that where you get your stupid analysis and thoughts.
Abate is a great player ,you dont have to do any research on that ,everyone who watches Milan play can see that. The problem here is THE BLOG is about IBRA playing and now you come up with Abate playing great. You think you are the only one who knows everything here.Your mama bust be upset with a confused kid like you.

No it’s not, moron. Again, lets get a reality check. Bigsoccer is a forum where I post every now and then. They have a wide variety of fans from across the world. Take off your dirt covered glasses and get back to reality. Stop posting stupidity about me when you don’t even know me.

I was responding to someone else, you dunce. Learn how to read for a change. If you can’t keep something in context, don’t post at all. you’re the confused little thing. You’re probably about 14 or 15 years old.
