MARK VAN BOMMEL’S future remains unclear.
The Dutchman joined Milan in January on a free transfer from Bayern Munich but speculations regarding his future have already been raised.
The player has already hinted that he would love a move to England and his agent, Mino Raiola suggested that van Bommel’s future is undecided.
Mexes chooses Milan: Personal terms agreed
Ricky Kaka to make Milan comeback?
“There’s nothing decided about next season. We’ll stay here if AC Milan will be willing to keep Mark playing for them, but that’s it at the time,” the agent told Dutch magazine Voetbal International.
Van Bommel, 33, has found space in the starting XI due to the injuries of Massimo Ambrosini and Andrea Pirlo and he’s playing quite well.
Raiola also spoke about Didac Vila. The 21-year-old left-back hasn’t played yet for Milan but Raiola believes Milan made a good deal:
“Didac Vilà needs to be patient about getting used to Italian football, which is different from how the game is played in Spain, but in my opinion Milan signed a good left-back when they got him.”

I know he’s 33 years old guys. But he’s still world class (and YES I do think that). I think we should offer him a one year extension. He could be very important. Especially in the Champions League. Too bad he can’t play in the CL this season. He deserves an EXTENSION!
I agree with Giancarlo at his age he is still the man on his position plus i saw from matches he is a good tutor and a leader. That’s what we need in Milan players with strong character. He deserves an extension
Van bommel is a fantastic player.he has done very well since joining milan and the game against napoli says it all.thank you van
Van Bommel is the missing link on the midfield… He and Gattuso in front of the defence.. And Pato, Robinho, Cassano en Ibra in the attack. A little bit like the Dutch formation.. Milan needs Van Bommel
he can stay if gattuso and ambro leaves along with flamini and seadorf then bring in poli and yann m’vill and allow strasser,merkel and urby to realli play :)…..
Ibra is a doubt for Juve according to Milannews.IT
UPDATE: according to investigations by the editorial staff of Milannews.it, Zlatan Ibrahimovic will not suffer any particular problem that would only back a small fastido. Also today, the Swedish, Thiago Silva, claimed training customized and differentiated but we reiterate, there should be no particular problems. An ultrasound showed a slight dorsal Contracture, nothing serious as he learns, and technical staff to announce is convinced that tomorrow’s Ibrahimovic will train regularly with teammates.

We still are yet to get official news from acmilan.com, hope its not serious
@TJ56
Live update. Ibra is fine. Milan just confirmed it. and so has Milannews.it
journalism rule #23
don’t jump the gun with press speculations.
@Jay Zeneros
Yup, he’s fine. But where have Milan confirmed it? I checked the website? The Italian one?
The official is always slow to post news on their site.
but the press are always hounding down Galliani for news. I was watching the Italian news and Galliani was being interviewed.
Oh ok, thanx. Thats a relief. Still I would like Cassano to play against Juve if he aint 100% fit.
@TJ56
but they also said even though Ibra is fine, He may start of the bench as a precaution to this slight injury.
I guess its Robinho, Pato and Cassano. With R70’s speed, Cassano’s passes and Pato’s finishing, that’s one hell of a dangerous trident as well. I expect Boateng to be fully fit by then.
will have to wait until tomorrow to see if Ibra will play or not.
With regards to MVB I would say keep him for one year then evaluate his performance again by May. We might get more players in his position between summer and Jan let’s see.
Thank God Ibra is ok, I would rather rest Ibra anyways so that he can be fresh for Spurs. Pato needs more playing time to catch his rythem, defiantly use Cassano since he will not play in CL, Robinho runs alot 1 to 1 passes is ok but defiantly has a poor kick needs to improve other wise swap him with someone like G. Rossi. FORZA MILAN
Lol anyone here what o Shea said about giggs passing maldini what a load of bs
“Milan signed a good LB when they got him” So that now he’s in Milan he sucks???
Let’s just see what van bommel can achieve in the end of this season. If he can give us scudetto & italian cup, than he deserve an extension.
Van Bommel won’t give us the Scudetto..
Van Bommel may not give us the scudetto, but he sure will be a crucial figure in that pursuit. At least that’s what I think.
And Ibra is just fine. He’s a professional. He can play 45-50 games a season like most professionals. He’s very strong, hardly ever injured. I knew it wasn’t going to be an issue.
Hi guyz…….i dont get it how come he is better thn Ambrosini………r ya guyz out of ur mind…….MVB is just a replacement of Ambro….the true Rossonero……if MVB gets a year extention…thn Ambro get a lifetime extention
Giancarlo i have read many of ur comments…been reading them for a while now. you are the only milan fan other than myself who knows “stuff” and makes sense.
unfortunately the difference between us is i cant be asked to comment lol
he proved me wrong. i am totally satisfied with the van Bommel signing. he has been a machine!
