ADRIANO GALLIANI wants reinforcements but also says that two players will leave.
Milan CEO Galliani has confirmed that Alexander Merkel, Rodney Strasser and Luca Antonini won’t move in January. The trio attracted the interest of some Serie A clubs, but Milan intend to keep them.
“Merkel and Strasser will absolutely not move,” Galliani said, as well as Antonini. No one will be sold, except [Nnamdi] Odu and [Bruno] Montelongo, who have not had the opportunity to play.”

Merkel – Appreciates the chance
Milan made a bid for Sampdoria’s Reto Ziegler but it was rejected as Samp want €3.5 million. However, Galliani doesn’t plan to pay too much.
“We are looking for alternatives, but we will not accept excessive demands,” the Vice President said, probably referring to the Ziegler case.

Don’t you dare to sold Merkel and Strasser! cause both of them are important for Milan future. Merkel is like the new Schweinsteiger, and Strasser more like Gattuso and Sissoko. The important thing is both player are from our primavera. And it mean’s that Milan must put more trust to their own product.
yeah, it’s been a long time since Milan’s first team is dominated by their own youth products. — Merkel could be better than Schweiny in 3-4 years if given enough chance. did you see his positioning for his goal against Bari??? pure talent!!!
good decision by galliani merkel is a super player srasser too, BUT VERDI IS A FANTASTIC PLAYER HE SHOULD BE WITH THEM IN THE FTRST THEM !!!!!!
Glad to hear that they are not planning to sell Antonini, he can be of great service on the left…
Hope just that Merkel’s injury is not serious?
Does anyone know something about the injuries of Merkel and Pirlo?
How could any1 can ask about selling them…That’s why i prefered Allergy over Leo…look at inter…in there three matches only Ranochia was the starter…
Yes both are great talents and Merkel is at the moment already better than Seedorf, when Seedorf leaves i hope the number ten will be given to Merkel.
