CENTRAL defenders are being linked with Milan.
Adriano Galliani has told that “Milan will see what they can do” in the current market, but it appears that they’re already working on the summer market.
According to Tuttosport, Milan’s prime concern is to find a proper replacement to Alessandro Nesta, as the former Italy international isn’t getting younger.

David Luiz (23) of Benfica remains the dream of Milan. The player, who is highly recommended by Thiago Silva, costs a lot (around €20 million), and with Chelsea and Manchester City competing for his signature it’d be very hard to land him.
Roma Frenchman Philippe Mexès [pictured] (28) could arrive already in January. The player has reportedly refused to sign a contract extension and Milan could take advantage of this situation or wait until he becomes free agent in the summer.
The alternatives are Mamadou Sakho (20) of PSG and Ezequiel Garay (24) of Real Madrid. If Milan decide to go for a Brazilian, the name of Joao Miranda (26) of Sao Paulo has been mentioned, but the player is also followed by Lazio.
If il Diavolo would want to sign a defender in January, then Espanyol’s Victor Ruiz (21) is an option. The Spanish’s agent suggested that if they offer is right then the player could move from Spain.

i honestly don’t think we need a CB until June. tepee is a fine replacement for the rest of theseason and domestic just needs some confidence and helpfrom nests I mean he marked messi who is playing like an alien right now! just don’t ever play bonera and can someone tell me why he is so good on FIFA always? Our defense is all over the place. We have too many center backs, but half of them are useless and out of the good ones, two are old (Nesta and Yepes.)
Yepes should always start when Nesta is injured or tired. I do not know why Allegri does not deploy him. He’s better than Bonera by a good gap.
I think LB is a bit more urgent. Antonini always gives solid performances for HIS standard, but his standard is not good enough.
Ac milan has all the power in the world to stop santacroce from joining leece if we can’t have astori then santacroce is a must.Our destiny is in our own hands.

we need fresh legs in the defense if not….bonera has not been too good,we need a high quality center-back.i would prefer a brazilian cnter-back because they are endowed with a natural control of the ball and highly-skilled.the likes of david luiz and the recently mentioned joao miranda of sao paulo.
bonera plays just because he’s italian. Allegri prefer to give chance to Italian in the squad
i think astori should be our first choice he is a great defender , ALBERTAZZI is also very promissing he must be in the first team as VERDI should be(HE IS REALLY VERY TALENTED) . BUT VICTOR RUIZ IS ALSO A VERY PROMISSING PLAYER .
Just sign Criscito. He can also play as a CB if it comes to that.
David Luiz is too expensive.
For the money he would cost we can get Criscito and Astori.
Then the next summer we can get Sirigu and Isla and that will be our defensive unit sorted for years to come.

years ago, milan could not sign thuram. now, i see sakho as the next thuram. sign him. he is a trully good investment for the future. also, buy the half of astori. he has potential and he is a good backup for our CB. with all respect, david luiz is over rated.
