AC MILAN are close to reach an agreement over Andrea Lazzari of Cagliari Calcio.
The Rossoneri are negotiating with Cagliari for Lazzari and the two sides are close to reach an agreement, according to Saturday’s edition of the Rome-based paper il Corriere dello Sport.
It is being claimed that Milan will offer Cagliari the second half of Davide Astori (estimated at €4-4.5 million) in exchange for the Italian midfielder.

The official announcement will arrive once Adriano Galliani returns to Italy from Brazil, which could be as early as tomorrow, according to the report.
Lazzari, who worked under Coach Massimiliano Allegri for two years, suggested on Thursday that he won’t join Milan, for now, but it appears that the 26-year-old would join the squad of Milan soon.
Corriere also says that Milan would open negotiations again in the summer in order to lure Alessandro Matri.

the match againt cagliari i saw astori actually much2 better then bonera. why we dont just 8 Million( the sell of ronie) + onyewu and get astori n lazzari? at least we have someone strong CB as backup, nesta career come to end, we need to fine now or what happen to this year( losing maldini) will happen again as our poblem at both side back. i hope galliani see this poblem. I’m not that kind of man who want to sign everybody, but I wouldn’t sell Astori. He’s a decent player, he could play for us from the summer. But I’m glad to hear about Lazzari. We really need somebody in the midfield. Matri? I don’t think we need him, but rather him than Toni or Amauri.
Lazzari is not a bad option but not at the expense of Astori. I hate it when Milan sell half of their most promising youth talents like Astori, Paloschi,Odu and Strasser. Matri was a youth product and we now are thinking about buying him back when we should have kept faith in him. Shameful! I just hope we dont make the same mistake with Merkel, Adiyiah, Verdi, Beretta, or Albertazzi. Lazzari isnt milan material. He’s a young gattuso type player. A booring player to watch. No runs, no play view. Just receives the ball and pass then pass it. And sometimes fails then tries to repairs his misstake runs and make a faul. A freekick against us, and that good cause great damage in an important game.

Where is Pirlo playing now? On the left, Lazzari’s position. Pirlo will leave at the end of the season. Allegri isn’t a fan of lazy players. If Allegri can convince management to let Berlusconi’s pet Ronaldinho go I don’t think they’ll object to him moving on Pirlo and Seedorf at the end of the season.
Shervin, if a player have the skills of Gattuso, then he’s Milan material.
Lazzari is not the best player on earth, but useful, fast enough, and can make the passes. Just like Boateng, or Flamini who fit well in Allegri’s team.

I would prefer more Paulo Henrique Ganso or Moussa Sissoko or Andrea Poli, who are more younger than Lazzari. And we should also get one center back so we should get Mario Fernandes who is 20 year old 1.89height and can play also as right back. Get Ganso and Mario Fernandes.
The best thing about signing Lazzari would be that Seedorf would probably rarely play another game until the end of the season! So I’m all for it!
I would not did not buy, but rather builds on the pups that are very good because the skeleton team is good and when so yes:astori lamela poli
I like d lazzari idea but we dnt hav 2 let go astori who 4 me is one of d best cb in d world.
I’d be happy to see Lazzari arrive (although like Louis I’d prefer Candreva) but it’s a shame that it’s at the expense of Astori who in my opinion would be perfect to replace Nesta in the long run.
Of course, if we’ve installed a first option on Astori then he still could be…
I’m not entirely sure that we need lazzari unless we have another injury crisis.
