More injuries: Abbiati to miss Udinese game

ALESSANDRO NESTA however could return on time for Sunday’s game.

AC Milan have issued a statement on their official site, giving the fans good but mainly bad news about the injured of three key players: Christian Abbiati, Sandro Nesta and Gianluca Zambrotta.

Zambrotta underwent an arthroscopic surgery in his knee today and recovery time could reach one month, meaning Milan lose depth in fullbacks position as Zambro can play on both sides.

Di Natale: ‘Udinese will go to San Siro to win’

Milan’s first-choice goalkeeper Abbiati suffered a mild strain of his right calf. The Italian will go through further checks in the coming days, meaning he will miss the game against Udinese.

There are also some good news for Milan as Nesta will continue treatment but there is a big chance that he will be fit to face Udinese in two days at Stadio San Siro (kick-off at 15:00 CET/Italy time).

As long as Nesta recovers in time, no one else matters.
