Milan set up a meeting with Toni’s agent

38

AC MILAN have become serious about signing Luca Toni of Genoa.

According to il Corriere dello Sport, Luca Toni to Milan is more than just a rumour as the Rossoneri are set to meet Toni’s representative Tullio Tinti.

Tinti should have met Coach Massimiliano Allegri yesterday in Dubai, where Milan are having their training camp, but Milan are waiting for Adriano Galliani, who is currently in Brazil for Ronaldinho.

Happy New Year!
Milan set to sign Boateng’s second half

Galliani is expected to return from the Samba land on Tuesday, when Milan return to Italy.

Toni’s apparently made it clear to Genoa that he would like to leave in January. Inter Milan are also said to be following the player although Milan are in pole position for the 33-year-old striker.

I think we should just take Macheda on loan from Man U instead of spending anymore money on strickers

Ariel milanista indonesia

Oh my god! what are you doing alegri, this man to replace one of our legend super pippo? come on alegri,he is 33 years old man.!! please bring young and talented player like balloteli to us!! we dont need that old man.. forza milan

Other view

re* Ariel: you’re just get influence by media, i think it’s no problem w/ toni signing. As long he productive creating goal, his age is considerable.

nooooooo pls god noooooooo.
We should get CB(D.Luiz or M.Sakho) and LB(F.Coentrão or D.Criscito)i prefer F.Coentrão and plz Berlu get A.POLI PLZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
ROSSONERI SIAMO NOI

We dont need another old leg like that and I agree with pasha we don’t need more strikers, and pasha I also disagree with you Not Marcheda or any player from Luck united, living fools or chelsea or mainly any EPL team, But what we need now is a Nesta replacement, and a pirlo replacement and I am not talking about a random mid I’m talking bout someone who is as rare as Xavi and Pirlo who is a dying breed, very rare to come across, and a new left back to replace luca antonini, instead of AC trying to… Read more »

il Corriere dello Sport’s reports about milan are always fals!

Milan are clearly looking for a target man to give Ibra some rest since this is the final stretch for the Serie A and Champions league. So Ibra will need some rest! However Luca Toni is not a bad option but should only be consider on a loan deal until the end of the season. It would be great to have Edin Dzeko but he will not come to Milan unless someone leaves or Milan break the bank for him which they wont. That is the only way he has a chance of coming to Milan and getting first team… Read more »

CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TIME IS THE MATCH AC MILAN VS El Ahly GOING TO START??

milani_4ever

Anything more than a six month loan would be foolish BUT
A SIX month LOAN would be perfect because He is:
Italian-knows all about Serie A
A predator in front of goal
A proven goalscorer in Serie A
Able to play in the champions league
Hungry for Scudetto success
Well known by current Milan players from their time with him in the Azzuri

Andriy

i hope its just a loan deal, not more!!

Chandler

Good choice, considering he’s going to be warming the bench. You can’t expect a Edn Dzeko type player to sit on the bench the whole year, but Toni probably would. Plus he’s a really tall motherfucker so all you need to do is bring him in during a corner at the end of the game and boom!

Sheva7

Guys if you looking for a striker—>EDIN DZEKO=BEAST but Berlu he refuse them and i think he go to Juve.Only this striker match in AC MILAN

Student

OK enuff of this bull about Allegri brining in youngsters and encouraging them, OLD habits never Die ,like this one. Seriously this is not more than a joke. what happened to the youngsters in Milan ,OH i get it ,like some of you always say ,THEY ARE NOT READY ,if things stand this way , Milan will never be ready ,Team Building starts from young and the RAW and carries on ,not some OLD fart coming to rescue the side. I pity Milan ,what a state they have come to!!!!!!

Nicu34

wtf is that .. we don’t need Toni :| Better we use Berreta or bring back Paloschi or Zigoni

Jack

to those saying the youngsters should play I do agree but not completely I don’t think Milan can afford to be like Arsenal (a second class team). I don’t think Barreta although he scored is good enough for top class football cause otherwise they would be in the team!! Allegri is not doing any kind of conspiracy the youngsters are just not ready. some might argue that how can they be ready if they are not played? i think the whole of Milan management are watching them as well, I don’t think Allegri can keep out Verdi/Barretta/Merkel/Adiyah/Strasser if they are… Read more »

Simo

I see more in Paloschi, Zigoni, Berretta, Verdi or even Adiyiah. And for them, we don’t need to pay. Don’t get Toni, he won’t help us neither in CL, nor in the Serie A. In CL, he is useless. In the championship, we can use Cassano too. Why do we need another striker? We’ve got 4, 5 with Inzaghi, and Ronaldinho is the 6th. And I haven’t spoken about the youngsters.

kbw

no need for him, very much striker we have

just prepare some player in primavera and we build new and fresh team who will compete in any match

rossoneri zadar

WTF,Luca Toni in Milan,i can”t belive it, dont fuck with us

tbone

I totally agree with Jack…he is completely right. If the young bucks aren’t playing its because they can’t play as well as the “old people” as they are being labeled. IF they were better allegri would play them. Pato is such an example. Abate is such an example. They are both strong in their respective areas and guess what…they’re young. So quit whining about who you want to play. There is a very good reason you’re not deciding who plays for milan and i would love to keep it that way. You guys couldn’t keep a semi-professional team from relegation.

Leader

Tony recruitment of money to invest rather let the lamela!!!

prasad chiplunkar

what the hell!!

we dont need him! we dont want him!! :X

truongdang

No… do not buy him, Please!

bucci

Fantastic loan deal. Will be excited to see his arrival. World Champion!

Milanista

Only if its a loan. I think Milan want to use him only for now and wait until summer to get a full-time striker (isn’t summer window cheaper?). It makes no sense to get somebody who’s only going to last 2 more years. Toni is a good just for now replacement. With all the creative players up front, Toni just has to wait for the header, expanding Milan’s attacking options. We don’t really have somebody who is a pure center forward. Ibra isn’t a pure center forward. He’s never in position for the header because he likes to stay a… Read more »

I read somewhere that ARSENAL are the third richest club in the world , thats too good for a Second Class team , and also to watch 17yr old kids play Champions league football is something to be proud off ,if you like FOOTBALL as a sport.Yes they havent won Champions League yet but they have produced players with class. just because they got humiliated by Barca in the last term doesnt make them a second class team , while Milan gets mauled by RM JUVE ROMA LAZIO etc and we still claim we are the most successful club in… Read more »

arya

I think we should buy him but he will leave in the summer anyway he is similar to crespo.

Jack

@Student you know if Real Madrid played Arsenal right now they would score 10 goals. Arsenal has produced who exactly? they have Fabregas but he is from Barca youth camp. For me football doesn’t have an age limit I would watch Inzaghi play up to when he is 60 rather then watch some Arsenal (overrated british media hyped) player even touch a football. Cause just in Inzaghi himself he has the passion of the whole football world. I called them a second class team cause they haven’t won shit in god knows how long and CL never, while Milan won… Read more »

@student
Milan have not been mauled by anyone this season…I think the worst performance was with the 2-0 loss to madrid, but they were both very avoidable goals and really should have been. other than that they havn’t even been beat bad.

Yess

Toni sucks, when did he score last time, 2005?

Ariel milanista indonesia

For all milan fans,Plz wake up.! i have read many from STUDENT, he is not milan fans, but inter fans.hes statement is always provocatif. lets get rid of student from this milan forum forever. forza milan, crash and burn in hell inter fans

Milanista

Honestly, I feel quite sorry for Arsenal. If you actually talk nicely to their fans, some of them actually admit that they are sick and tired of waiting, that Arsenal has only turned into a business factory of producing players and then selling them at their peak. You just can’t argue with an Arsenal fan because it just sucks too much. I can get pissed at Man U fans, Pool fans (hate them), Chelsea fans, etc, but I just can’t get pissed at Arsenal fans because I feel sorry for them.

prast

actually we no need to buy more striker, we have cassano, robinho and pato who can also play as ST. but if we have to, it just because of Allegri want to have a back up for Ibra in case he needs some rest. Inzaghi still the best for back up, but Toni is good also..
Forza Milan..!!!

Jack

@milanista lol true i should have also held my tongue, but can’t blame me for it, I just don’t like some crap (i mean competitive young) team supporter to take shots at our Milan. So I did put them back to their place a little. But overall I hate Man U(re) & Sir Alex FAG-u-son fans they are the most ignorant fans in the world. Btw did you guys read Leonardo tried to sign Ronaldinho from Milan yesterday? Man that guy is a kid, he is very immature cause every move he is making is just to piss off Milan… Read more »

Black&Red

MILAN SHOULD GET Mário Fernandes OR Rafael Toloi.
Mario Fernandes WOULD BE BETTER CUZ HE CAN PLAY ALSO AS RIGHT BACK.

Black&Red

Mario Fernandes is more cheaper than David Luiz and younger than him. I think that with 10-15mln we coul buy Mario Fernandes and Toloi. And then maybe we could put Thiago Silva in Midfield. But i would like to see MARIO FERNANDES and THIAGO SILVA in our defence.

Skidney

Toni is not the player he was but would be a solid acquisition until the end of the season and will give Ibrahimovic a chance to rest when needed.

Student

@JACK Milan played RM JUVE ROMA LAZIO very recently and we know it was all humiliating. Its ok for SECOND CLASS TEAM like arsenal to lose to barca, but Mlan the most successful club in the world losing to ROMA JUVE ROMA is unacceptable. and yes no one knew who FABREGAS until he started leading Arsenal ,now BARCA want Nasri Denilson from Arsenal and they all are in the first IX for Arsenal. FABREGAS hasnt won anything for his club ,but his price tag is bigger than Ibra Cassano combined. even Ibra for that matter is not from Milan, Malmo Juve… Read more »

@STUDENT
Milan produced LEGENDS like MALDINI and BARESI,those two PLAYERS won more competitions than many clubs (including Arsenal).
Arsenal made the world know Fabregas but he was taught his football at Barcelona.
Milan taught players like MALDINI and BARESI their football AND made the world know them.
