Galliani: ‘Milan will only look for a striker’

AC MILAN will try to sign a striker in January, nothing else, according to Adriano Galliani.

All the rumours that Milan are going to sign a defender or a midfielder in January are false, as according to Milan Vice President Galliani, the Rossoneri only need a striker to cover for Pippo.

However, he doesn’t promise that a forward will come either, as doesn’t see too many good strikers that will be on the market in January, but confirms that he will search through the market.

Galliani: ‘Allegri really likes Lazzari but…’

“It will be an intense January, and we will be needing Pato to return,” Galliani told. “We began the season with five world-class strikers and at the moment we have two out injured.

“Pippo is hoping to make his comeback towards the end of the season and I hope he does with all my heart. The only role that we are looking to fill is the one left open by Pippo.

“Playing at Milan, though, is difficult and that is why we are seeking a champion player.

“At this time, I don’t see too many available, but we shall see. Either a striker arrives, or the team stays as is.”

Pato will coem back and then they are 4 forwards, all top class. Why do we need a 5th that most likely won’t see much play time. I’m still saying get young replacements for our older players so they can learn and grow in Milan and becoem new super stars.
