Milan to fight Inter for €40m-rated Welsh

GARETH BALE has attracted the interests of the Milano clubs but his price is unrealistic.

il Corriere dello Sport reports AC Milan and Inter Milan are ready to fight each other for Tottenham Hotspur 21-year-old Bale, but his price is very high.

It is believed that it would take €40m  to land the Welsh international on the grass of the San Siro, a price that neither club would be willing to pay.

Allegri plans changes for Napoli

The Spurs man, who plays best on the left-side of the midfield, was at his best on Wednesday when his side lost 4-3 to Inter. Bale was clearly the man of the match, with a crazy second half hat trick.

AC Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani revealed this week that he once followed Gareth, but admitted it’d be very hard to sign him now.

“I’ve always liked Bale,” said Galliani. “But the right time to sign him was when he was having a few injury problems. I spoke with Ariedo Braida about him, but it wasn’t possible to sign him.

“When he returned to full fitness he returned to being a fantastic player, but now he costs too much and it would be difficult for Milan to sign him. Certain players need signing before they explode.”

then why didn’t you sign him 2 years ago, when he stated that he wants to move to AC Milan ?!!!

ac milan fan

i want ac milan to sign him
he is best player

Ronnie2009

He is a good player Not to take away anything from this great chap named BALE : Two things. Is he worth 40 Mil Euros & Secondly will he fit into the Italian (Milan) style of play. Does anybody have an opinion Please shed some light into this matter. I am not saying this but ASKING ?

ACM

Bale will be great at Milan but his price tag It’s way to much. I don’t think he will have any problem playing in Italy because he is strong for his age if u compare him to pato for example. Milan need players like him young and hungry for trophies. Of course he wont have the same space to play as he does in England now but a good quality player adapts to any type of futball if I was the coach I would get him and give him more strength by giving him the legendary number 3 shirt. FORZZA… Read more »

oh yeah by the way I call him the WOLF

Mr.Hendsom

Of Course he would fit in Italian football… This man is Pure magic and i could see him become the best, i swear i have always liked him, i remember when he was younger and was playing Left-Back and he wasn’t good enough there he was bad at marking, but had he’s games and he was my fovourite and he lost his place to Assou-Ekotto and i was always angry becpuse clearly he was good attacking left midlefielder, then finally he got his chances and he is like he is now !! Don’t shoot down he’s performance against Inter, like… Read more »

@ronnie2009. You are right but he is not worthy for this price and for my opinion at this time around i don’t think milan can sign this player.

Chandler

Mr.Hendsom i fully agree with and i would not like to see that Left-Footed Gun go across the City to Inter !!!

Cujo

Mr.Hendsom and Chandler i agree with you both and good point Mr.Hendsom Inter defence is no Joke and Julio Cesar is a Top keeper but those shots were too good to be true !!!

Ronnie2009, To answer your question about Bale. He is an excellent player. Just Youtube him and you will see. He is a great free kick specialist as well. Milan had the opportunity to sign him 2 years ago when he was sitting on the bench at Tottenham but Galliani and co. like the idiots they are didnt sign him. No one had any interest in him at the time but Milan because he was injured and not getting any playing time until recently they choose not to sign him. So we could have bought him at a very cheap price. He… Read more »

Oh,Roonie2009 let me not forget to include the infamous Edin Dzeko. We could have signed him a long time ago before he was second top scorer in the Bundesliga behind Grafite. He was much cheaper than Ibra and he is ofcourse younger. We had scouted him before he transferred to Wolfsburg. But unfortunately we all know what happened. He might end up at Juventus, Man U, Chelsea or ofcourse Real Madrid.

Ronnie2009

Conclusion is , He is good but Milan cant buy him .so why is the speculation then. Thanks for the updates guys. I do like him from Southampton days while they were in championship however talks are that HArry Redknapp really doesnt have good relationship with Galliani and he doesnt get along well with the other English clubs as well , so if a good bid we can see him go to REAL MADRID. In case I mean IN CASE Maxwell moves from Barca to Milan ,Bale might want to try Barca too ,but do Barca have the money to… Read more »

@Ronnie2009
He is worth it for sure, and can Milan buy him… well didn’t Galliani reduce Ibra’s price from 70 mil to 25. I say its possible, but the better question is can he play in the Italian, Possible but he will have a hard time at first, and the way Allegri is now he wouldn’t get the chance if he played one bad game. Just look at Sokratis.

milanforever98

Why we dont get him 2 years ago?

Master

Yes i think he’s worth the price. But i more prefer David Luiz than Bale.

Anthony

I personally think he will flop in Serie A. Most players from Britain flop only three exceptions for me John Charles, David Platt and Beckham. Beside them every other British player who has come to Italy has failed to live up to expectations. So 40 million is a huge risk. For that price you could rebuild half the squad. I agree that when he was at Southampton then Milan should have bought him, just like Torres who wanted Milan before Liverpool, Cissokho, Dzeko, Krasic and Hernanes who have all wanted to come to Milan but the Brass said no. We… Read more »

i wud love to see bale!! but 1st luiz and NURI SAHIN! sahin is awesum player! and ganso! trouble comes from slight weak defense and slow midfeild! these three can solve the problem

prasad chiplunkar

and most importantly a right back! we have absolutely no1 to trust in that right back position

ACMILAN1988

Bale are too expensive, unrealistic price, and he’s bad on defense. cristico is a talented player, with lower price and he’s an italian, or cissokho he’s good too

kalakaladze

i think antonini not so good, too rush. Brazilian wingback is good but we have to trust young good player to get them oportunity like devito. Now milan cant balance in defence & midfield when champ player played. Flamini or young mid must play when we play fast games in champ like real. Midfield so terrible to defence in back. Wingback must good in defence & techniq & cross. Forza Milan!

Ronnie2009

@ Tremendousice , You are talking about BARCA & Milan , they have a good relationship and have done business before, also PEP wanted IBra out. Galliani is not smart; Barca is dumb , guess you know the sale of ETO,however i dont think Spurs have a good business relationship with Milan ,personally Harry Potter wouldnt like Bale to go to Italy, If Mancity qualify for CL next season ,we can see him there , Mourinho will try next season for Maicon on the right and Bale on the left. might happen.

Master

Lol, Roonie2009 talked like a pro. He said Galliani IS NOT SMART. Oh, i love to see Roonie2009 replace Galliani someday. I want to see if he can bring us a great player like Ibra, Binho, Sheva, Nesta, Kaka, etc etc. Just like Galliani did.

FDL

What £40million.. Oh please…. maybe 20/25 at a push but this guy has had 1 good season and everyone thinks world class .. hey maybe world player of the year.. please remember in italy u playing against real defenders/midfielders who tackle hard.. and the game just woulndt suit him.. he can run.. but technical ability to hold the ball pass vision is yet to be seen.. i would love him at milan, but at the price he can stay at the club where he will win a big fat ZERO
