LUIGI DELNERI is set to give his key players rest.
Juventus boss Delneri has revealed he’s going to give a chance to players who barely play against AC Milan tomorrow night in the Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi.
The former Sampdoria coach thinks that match will be a good test but he decided not to risk his first-rate players, as they have an important playoff game next Thursday in the Europa League against Sturm Graz.
Allegri set to change formation for Juve game
Allegri: ‘Ibra? I am happy with the squad’
“It is an important appointment against a great team which is preparing for starting the championship, as we are doing, this is the reason why the result of this friendly is not so fundamental,” Delneri told.
“I will give all players who play less the opportunity to play in order to recover the minute endurance considering the next championship start. Such as [David] Trezeguet, for example.”
