AC MILAN would rather promoting young players than buying new ones.
The Rossoneri are not willing to spend money on new reinforcements from other clubs and according to reports, they are set to stay in-home and promote some of their Primavera stars to the first team.
Giacomo Beretta (18), Simone Verdi (18) and Alexander Merkel (18) have all impressed during the Emirates Cup and they are expected to be in the first team next season, while Rodney Strasser (20) and Nnamdi Oduamadi (20) are already considered first-team players.

Milan target double swoop for Ledesma and Elano
Coach Massimiliano Allegri is looking for a midfielder, and Merkel & Strasser will surely support a decent cover, based on their performances against Arsenal and Lyon during this weekend.
However, it will be harder for Verdi, Beretta and Oduamadi to find space with all Filippo Inzaghi, Ronaldinho, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Marco Borriello, Dominic Adiyiah and Alexandre Pato competing for a spot.

inzaghi will retire. .borirllo takes too many chances he sholud be sold . .ronnie will go for free i geuss!! we should have sold him on this transfer for 12-15m{L.A galaxy} .
I hoped for an attacking midfielder, but Merkel & Oudamadi showed real talent. I’m sure these 2 were good substitutes for Dinho.
all this players Giacomo Beretta (18), Simone Verdi (18) and Alexander Merkel (18) and Rodney Strasser (20) and Nnamdi Oduamadi (20) put them in the fisrt team and we dont need any players from other teams and we have young milan side i think if we have this caind of players we will be good at seria for ever year beacuse we have talented young players.
@prasad chiplunkar – has a point.
Borriello misses way to much, Dinho should have been sold to LA for 15 mil.
Verdi and Merkel did very well and the goal by Borriello against Celtic is thanks to the youngsters, because Borriello AGAIN he miss.
they should sell filipop inzagni and klass-jan hunterlar to gave verdi and baretta a change to play they r young and will have alot to gave to the team.
I think Milan should sell Hunter or Borriello… Seedorf, Gattuso or Abate any1, & sell Jankulowski, Kaladze & Oddo… & Buy 1 attacking mid, 1 left mid & 1 right mid…
this is what we want to hear. but they better not rot on the bench.
grass on neighbour hood always looks good, we have a better team who can compete any match, but we always want to bring other player. so this time for us to chance and give some primavera player to show what they have got
the young Israeli midfielder of Barcelona, Gai Assulin, considered one of the greatest European talent. The Footballer didn’t extend his deal with the Spanish team and he can leave for free.
