AC MILAN had a chance to buy Marek Hamsik but said no back in 2007, before he joined Napoli.

Brescia President Luigi Corioni revealed today that he offered Napoli star Hamsik to Milan, Juventus and Inter before the player went to Napoli, but none of these big three wanted him. He said:

“Before giving him to Napoli, I offered him to Inter, Milan and Juventus for €3.5 million for half of the player. None of the three responded back…”

Milan keen on €8m-rated 26-year-old midfielder
‘Gattuso is considered unsellable’

The three Italian giants must feel regret now they didn’t take him, as Hamsik is one of the best young players in Serie A (23) and he has already given a lot to Napoli and to his national team – Slovakia.

The attacking midfielder, who could play also as central midfielder, has joined the Partenopei in 2007 and since then he has played 106 matches and scored 30 goals.
