CLARENCE SEEDORF is set to prolong his contract.
The Dutch attacking midfielder will extend his contract with the Rossoneri to 2012, as he is set to take a 30-40% cut in his wages.
Seedorf, 34, has failed to retrain a first-XI place last season under Leonardo and he looked off-form in many matches, despite scoring some really important goals for il Diavolo.

AC Milan have already renewed the contracts of Massimo Oddo, Gianluca Zambrotta and Christian Abbiati. Now, they are working on the renewal of Seedorf and Kakha Kaladze.
Seedorf will start his eight season with Milan soon, after he has joined the Rossoneri in 2002 from Inter Milan, exchanged with Francesco Coco. Since then he has played 252 matches and scored 41 goals.
