RAFAEL VAN DER VAART will reportedly be the replacement of Gennaro Gattuso.
The departure of Gattuso seems on the cards and according to Milannews, AC Milan will sign Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder van der Vaart as part of the one goes, one comes in strategy that’s being led in via Turati this summer.
The Dutchman is not in Jose Mourinho’s plans, and he was already offered to Milan earlier this month when the Blancos tried to lure Thiago Silva.

‘We will look to tear the trophies off their shirts’
The 27-year-old, who grew in Ajax’s youth department and has joined Real Madrid in 2008 for €13 million, could be just what Milan are looking for, as new coach Massimiliano Allegri wants to add a natural AM to the Rossoneri.
Rafael van der Vaart of course will not be an alternative for Gennaro Gattuso, as young prospect Rodney Strasser is expected to be this man.
Antonio Candreva, Andrea Lazzari, Manuele Blasi, Rio Mavuba, Cheikhou Kouyatè and Marco Donadel have also been linked with Milan as replacements for the 32-year-old.

not serie A type vdv tbh lazzari or candreva i say
Mohamed* vdv is a great player NO ( Blasi and Donadel) Candreva , lazzari ,vdv, mavuba and kouyate most welcome.
i prefer lazzari
Van der vaart could be a replacement for gattuso, but lazzari or fernando GAGO are the best options to fill the vacant if he leave.
VdV does not play in same position as Gattuso, he is more attacking midfielder where gattuso is DM. we have Pirlo in that position seedorf and Dinho we dont need VdV
better than honda, and best replacement for seedorf. strasser can take gattuso duty.
Spain bounce confirmations on the interest of Milan for Rafael Van der vaara: according to Radio Marca, in fact, ask Real Madrid from 8 to 10 million euros for the player, with an engagement falls within the salary cap the Rossoneri, equal to 2.8 million annually. The Dutchman also did not reject the transfer, including why the probable arrival of Khedira, more than any of Ozil, it would close fairly clear. Last year, the midfielder was the last “survivor” of the “orange” Merengues: was the decisive intervention of Perez, his wife Sylive being forced to follow a treatment against cancer… Read more »
this will be great; Amelia;Abate,T.silva, Yepes,Papastathopoulos;Pirlo;Honda,Van der Vaart,Ronaldinho;Pato,Eder.
VDV is not coming to Milan, this is all BS. And Ibrahim, I can’t believe you’re preferring Amelia, Abate and Yepes to Abbiati, Zambrotta and Nesta.
Van Der Vaar was one of my fav player 3 years ago, if Milan buy him i hope it wont with high price, he’s not that good anymore, i prefer lazzari and cossu
It’s clear you guys don’t watch football matches rafael van der vaart is more creative than sneijder and is better than him also this wid be a steal for 8-10 mil . His preferred position is central mid field , Milan fans who watch their games last season would prefer him than pirlo slow ass losing the ball cheaply.
Hernanes or schweinsteiger…
