HERE are the details of the deal Real Madrid had offered Milan to get Thiago Silva.
Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is following Silva, but he won’t get him as Silvio Berlusconi confirmed yesterday that “We have had offers from Real Madrid [for Thiago] but we turned them down.”
The Blancos boss was set to offer €15 million plus the full rights of 27-year-old Dutch attacking midfielder Rafael van der Vaart or 29-year-old Malian defensive midfielder Mahamadou Diarra.

The secret meeting between the sides had taken place in Mallorca, where Milan administrator delegate Adriano Galliani met the chiefs of Real Madrid.
The players are not in Mourinho’s plans, as he’s ready to buy players to replace them. He will probably move Kaka to the middle from the wing and use Pedro Leon there. He will also buy Sami Khedira to play in Diarra’s position.

Keep Silva at all cost, he’s World Class and will be for many years.
Van Der Vaart is a good option, since we need a AM. Our midfield is very slow, he’d be a good signing. Just no Silva…..
get off u’r hands from Silva Madrid! with u’r money, u can find any center-back from any club in this world. but not Silva! he’s too important for us!
I have thought for a while that van der vaart would be a gd easy sighning cause he’s never used at real also add pase to our midfield defiantly keep silva cause world class
Silva is a Milan player and Real will get him only if they offer Ronaldo + Kaka + 60 million… so stop wasting our time!
Good we rejected it.
If I’m Mr.Berlusconi, I will ask € 20m plus garay…so milan will get a good replacement for silva and fresh money to buy Dzeko…Forza Milan
sorry D one garay is not half as good as thiago
