Official: Darmian leaves Milan on co-ownership

MATTEO DARMIAN has joined Palermo on co-ownership.

The 20-year-old center back, who can play also as a right back, was linked with Palermo in recent days and yesterday, the Rosanero announced through their official site that they have signed Darmian from Milan.

The statement reads: “US Citta di Palermo wish to communicate that they have purchased AC Milan defender Matteo Darmian. The player arrives at the club in a co-ownership deal.”

Milan want to restore peace with Genoa
Flamengo very serious about Ronaldinho

According to the official note on Palermo’s site, Darmian, who is a product of the Rossoneri youth department and former captain of the Primavera, will be presented to the media today.

Darmian is a very promising player as he made his debut for the Rossoneri already in age 16. The player spent last season on loan at Padova, where he recorded 20 matches and one goal.

I hope he will come back and won’t be Astori 2.0

He’s good actually. Kjear has left Palermo and now they bring another youngster, Darmian to fill in…that’s smart…Milan should learn something.

I would prefer to use Darmian rather than Yepes!
