MILAN have made no offer for Eder.
Serie B top star and its Capocannoniere, Eder, has been linked with many clubs this summer and it appeared that Milan were very interested in the player and had asked for the player.
However, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has denied any approach – that was followed by a statement from Empoli. The agent of the player, Eugenio Ascari tried yesterday to make things clear.
“An official statement from Empoli followed Galliani’s denial, in which the club clarified that there was never a real deal, so there is little to add,” Ascari told Milannews.it.
“If the President of one club and the Vice-President of another have confirmed that there was never a deal and that we are probably only talking about interest, I have little to add.
“I am also certain that there has been no contact between the two clubs. I think it’s superfluous to ask if Eder would be attracted to Milan.
“It would be the best that could happen to the player also because he would find a colony of compatriots who would allow him to overcome any problems of adjustment.”
