FRANCO BARESI thinks Marco van Basten is the best choice Milan can do.
The legendary defender has backed the legendary striker, saying that the Dutchman is the right man for AC Milan if Leonardo leaves his post as coach at the end of the season, which is not far.
Leonardo has been strongly linked with a move outside of San Siro and with such a rocky relationship with Patron Silvio Berlusconi – the Brazilian is very likely to leave. Baresi thinks van Basten should replace the 40-year-old.

Van Basten Is PERFECT For Milan
“Who is the right man for Milan? Van Basten…” Baresi admitted to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “He knows Milan and is a prestigious figure who would shake up the environment.”
Milan end the season with no title, but the legendary No. 6 is optimistic. He said: “Milan still have plenty of good players and more will come in. I think that Milan might be the only team that will be able to compete with Inter.”

Marco van Basten was a GREAT striker…but as I coach, really, Tassotti is better in my opinion
van Basten won’t come. Filippo Galli will be the new coach of AC Milan
Forza MIlan! I love Baresi and Van Basten!!!!!!!
van Basten is not a very good coach actually…
if van basten comes then huntelaar will play all the matches not borriello
I think Van Basten did a good Job with Ajax. He knows Huntelaar very well and he is very offensive. Yes He would like to play Hunt more because he knows Hunt is better than Borrielo.
