JULIO BAPTISTA has found the interest of another Milano club, after Inter failed to sign the player, it is now reported that AC Milan will try their luck with the striker. Huntelaar is set to leave.
The Roma man was on the verge of joining Inter Milan this week, but differences in terms between the Nerazzuri and Baptista had collapsed the deal. Now, according to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri are hoping to sign the player.
With the derby coming in four days, and the situation of the injured Alexandre Pato, Milan coach Leonardo is looking for alternatives. Dominic Adiyiah is with Ghana at African Cup of Nations, so Leo stays without a wide-man.

Leonardo: Derby? Not Decisive
However, a deal for Baptista, 28, 6 ft 11⁄2 in (1.87 m), is likely only if Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Milan part company. The Dutch striker has not been in Leonardo’s plans. Leo prefers Marco Borriello and Filippo Inzaghi.
‘The Hunter’ has admitted on Tuesday that he seeks for Milan exit, or at least a loan deal to rescue his World Cup chances with Holland. The 26-year-old plays very little, as scoring three goals in 11 matches.
Huntelaar is followed by Manchester United and Arsenal lately, but the most likely for him is leaving on a loan. As for Baptista and his possible landing, vice president Adriano Galliani insisted: the market is closed.

Huntelaar really wants to leave ha…I still would keep him. Baptista is good – I’m happy Inter didn’t sign him…
