The Rossoneri and the Old Lady are close on being beaten by Fiorentina with regards to the signing of Torino youngster Lorenzo De Silvestri
Milan are looking for a left-back for weeks now, but Silvio Berlusconi closed the market. However also after his shut down Milan ‘pre-season transfers’, reports suggested they are still keen on another reinforcement – Lazio’s De Silvestri who’s wants to move out.
Milan had leverage but Oddo refuses to return to Lazio this season, after was kicking out of there following a row with the club president. Juventus and Fiorentina are interesting in Lorenzo too, and today it seems like The Viola are going to get De Silvestri’s ink.
Reports on Saturday suggested that Lorenzo De Silvestri held talks with Fiorentina’s sporting director Pantaleo Corvino about his personal terms in the team, which he agreed. La Repubblica report that Lorenzo has agreed to five-year deal worth €600,000 per year (figure will rise annually).
However, Fiorentina will have to increase their bid for the Italian, as they offered €2m less than what Lazio asked for him. Lazio and Fiorentina will start the negotiations again, once the Biancocelesti have played out Atalanta clash.
Meanwhile, there were two more options for Milan, but apparently, no one will arrive to San Siro anymore this summer. This is AC Milan, version 2009!
