The young-coach of the Old Lady has announced that his team is going to do whatever it takes in order to lift the Berlusconi Cup on Monday night
The league kicks-off in less than a week, and the match tonight against Juventus seals Milan pre-season friendly matches, as after tonight, all we need to do is wait the season to begin. The Rossoneri will be facing Juventus to the Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi.
Both teams are keen to win, start the new Serie A with a sweet taste, especially Milan who only won one match out of nine during the entire pre-season. Juventus, with the leading of new coach Ciro Ferrara, have already beat Milan 2-nil on Friday last week, the 42-years-old coach, wants to do it again.
“This match is a friendly tradition, however it has produced some thrilling games over the years,” Ciro Ferrara was quoted as saying by Corriere dello Sport.
“It’s like any other match for us though, and we will be out there to win it. I have instructed my players to approach this game with the same mentality and spirit as if it were an official match.
“I don’t want to be only satisfied with the performance of my players in the match; so we must win.”
Juventus are the real favorites to take this trophy. Milan show nice, but the results are terrible, while Juventus seem like a team that can face Inter hard for the Scudetto this year.
