Muñóz wants Fiorentina move more than AC Milan’s

The Viola will be preferred in the acquisition of Boca Juniors starlet Ezequiel Muñóz

AC Milan and Firoentina have reportedly expressed their interest in Muñóz this transfer window. Both clubs have been looking for a further defense player to strengthen the squad. Although it seems like Milan are after Bale and De Silvestri, Muñóz himself saying Milan want him as well as Fiorentina.

“I know that Milan and Fiorentina, who are two great clubs, have been following me, and this makes me very proud,” Munoz told Argentine TV station TYC.  “For now, however, my only aim is to recover from my knee injury.

“If I have to leave, I will do so happily, but on the other hand I will also be happy if Boca decide to keep me.” But the Argentine player has a preference. “Fiorentina? They are a great club, it would be a dream, but I just want to concentrate on my physical condition at the moment,” he said.

Muñóz, 18-years-old, has made his Boca Juniors debut in the 4-0 win of them over Liga de Quito in last year’s Copa Sudamericana. And since then, the young center-back has been targeted as futuristic world-class defender as he already has a place in the first eleven of los Xeneizes.

The player plays at Argentina’s Under-17 and Under-20 teams. He also has been compared to former Boca Juniors defender Walter Samuel and legendary Roberto Ayala.
