Real Madrid midfielder Diarra has been identified as a replacement for Andrea Pirlo who perhaps joining Chelsea
The list of alternatives to Andrea Pirlo has become wider now since Diarra has joined the list. Mahamadou Diarra has been strongly linked with Chelsea in the past weeks, but Milan could enter into the race.
Milannews.it claims the Rossoneri are looking at Diarra and many reports suggest Real are trying to offload Mali international following this summer’s spending spree. Diarra was previously linked with Juventus but the move froze out.
Also Sao Paolo star Hernanes who dreams about playing for Milan has been linked with a move to AC Milan, but when the Rossoneri heard his club demand €14m for him, that scared them away. Voices claim Diarra would be cheaper option that suits the club’s spending policies also in his wages.
However, earlier today Pirlo asked about Chelsea and ignored to say anything regarding his future. “Chelsea? I have nothing to say. I will speak further down the line,” Pirlo told Il Corriere Dello Sport.
With a decision we’re not aware to, it would be interesting to see what Milan will do and if Pirlo will sell out the Rossoneri for more money at Chelsea.
