With no financial problems in the bank following Kaka’s sell to Real Madrid, the Rossoneri are going to hunt some players in this summer, during the transfer season. The first target has reached, former Porto defender Aly Cissokho has sign for the Rossoneri last week, and the second goal is Edin Dzeko. However, this time, il Diavolo are looking for Champions League winner Barcelona players.
Galliani already promises a world-class striker. Many names have been pop-up in peoples mind: Edin Dzeko, Luca Toni, and even Samuel Eto’o. The reports are telling that Barcelona’s Eto’o has one year left with Blaugranes and as stated, they not going to extend that. If Barca will not extend the Cameroonian striker, he goes to Milan for nothing, 0 Euros/Dollars, as reported.
Today, Sports are reporting that new head-coach Leonardo is eager to add more power to his attacking forward the upcoming season by adding Eto’o. The Barcelona-based paper believes agent Ernesto Bronzetti (Milan transfer adviser) will fly into Catalunya for some time in the next days to discus about the possibility of signing Eto’o as well as goalkeeper, Victor Valdes. Both players have contract until 2010 and both did not offered yet a new contract.
The goalkeeper has been tracked by Milan over the past years and rumors of a transfer have constantly surfaced. But the Serie A giants are aware that it will not be easing trying to prise the 27-year-old away as Barca have made it known more than once that they intend to find a resolution to his contract negotiations. Valdes is an excellent keeper, well, not as good as Real Madrid’s Casillas is but he worth a lot. He is much better than today’s first keeper Abbiati.
Eto’o is good too, but since all the world breaking records of Real Madrid, the minds of players just came back home. He wants to be paid as much as Barca pay for Lional Messi. Messi is an attacking midfielder and he scored more goals than Eto’o did all the season in all the competitions. He wants astronomical wage and that may deters Milan do make a move on him since Berlusconi does not want to break to bank in this transfer season.
