Would Milan crown Inter as champions? Milan – Udinese

1

Draw and half win – this is Milan record for this weeks as last Sunday they were make 1-1 against Juventus and later this week they played against the Albanian national team as they won in penalty kicks after 3-3 in 120 minutes (that’s for the half). Two weeks ago Milan were on the wave as they won five matches in a row, however, as we can see the draw came and with not the first squad against Albania – only 3-3 in 120 minutes – sad…

Kick Off

Milan and Udinese will face each other at Stadio Friuli at 21:30IDT of 16 May 2009.

Scudetto Is Off For Milan

Milan don’t have a real chance to win the Scudetto this year as Berlusconi said – it’s the coach Carlo Ancelotti’s fault as it reported (he denies) but Milan still want to save them a place in second of Serie A until the end of the season. – For doing that they have to do this game well and take all the three points and that for keep on it gap or make it bigger from Juventus.

Best of Today

Udinese are the best team on Serie A at the moment as they are in top form though. It has would be a hard game with many good moves for both of teams. This is home game for Udinese and that could make it easier to them when they have their crowd in the back cheering them as the bought cheaper tickets than Milan’s fans. It has would be the match of this round.

Pasquale Marino Is Pleased

The team of the city Udin won in her last five games they are in the situation Milan were couple of weeks ago and maybe this match will stopp the winning streak also for them. “I liked our reaction in the last game,” Udinise head coach Pasquale Marino noted following Udinise’s victory 3-1 over Lazio last week. “I hope none of the guys will leave this summer and that we will keep the same squad.”

Milan Watch Out From Juventus

The Rossoneri team has been earn 16 points from the last six games as 15 by wins and one draw against the Old-Lady, they may be back on feet and still catch Inter on the race for the title – but, how possible is that? Milan better watch out from Juventus as they only four points following the draw and now it’s seems close than ever to Juvetnus catch Milan again.

Ancelotti Knows the Situation Well

“The title was already over for us,” said Carlo Ancelotti. “Now we need to win all the games left starting with three points against Udinese. Regarding my position it is not my job to say what will happen. I am a Coach and I do my best.”

Il Diavolo coach future is not clear, as there are talks he moving to Chelsea this summer as Roman Abramovic (Chelsea’s owner) success to convince him join the Blues next season. If he really moving – he might do not care about what will happen.

Injuries and Suspended

Dias Felipe and Giovanni Pasquale should recover in time for the game. Totò Di Natale, Andrea Coda, and Aleksander Lukovic are out though. Marino should keep Mauricio Isla in defense while playing striker Asamoah in midfield.

David Beckham and Giuseppe Favalli are suspended. The Rossoneri are also without Marco Borriello, Alessandro Nesta, Christian Abbiati and Kakha Kaladze who have all been out for a while. Ancelotti should keep Ronaldinho on the bench as well as Alexandre Pato. Gennero Gattuso is ready to play now and will probably, start on the bench.

The Record

The Black and white are often defeated by Milan as when the met for the first time this season – Milan crushed them with 5-1 and Milan did them a favor that night. While two seasons ago, it was 4-1. In 2005-06 and 2006-07, Milan won at the Friuli by four and three goals respectively. Will the tradition continue? I hope so. Last season it ended with one single goal of Milan.

Keep an Eye On

Pippo Inzaghi – Super Pippo could not find the net against his old team Juventus but still deserves a starting shirt. Like a good wine, Inzaghi gets better with years. Kaka – Was very good in those last weeks, control well on the balls. Played against the Albanian team and even scored a penalty. He is very good since he came back from his injury.

Quagliarella – The Italian national team player is doing very well in his games. 21 balls he put in the net this season and Milan should watch out from him. Probably will show is great skills as Striker. If Di Natale was not suspended this couple could be a very dangerous combination to the Rossoneri’s defense.

Milan Will Decide If Inter Can Celebrate

Not only the points are important, this match may be the game to decide which team will win the Scudetto. If Milan lost and Inter even draw, the Black and Blue taking another championship and make it four in a row. If Milan wins, everything is open but it would still be likely to Inter to win the Scudetto. I really do not know how this league will end. In any case – boredom in this league is off!

Form Guide

Udinese won all her five last games as last week they beat Lazio. Now they will face Milan at home; would the WWWWW streak will end. Milan were in Udinese position before last week fiasco as they one hand from the three points; WWWWD will continue to another win, draw or loss? We will see at the end of the game tomorrow.

Did You Know

This match against Udinese at Udin is historical for Paolo Maldini as his first match with older Milan was in age 16 and it was against Udinese at Udin. Now, when he retires this year – his almost last game will be against Udinese at Udin as he celebrates his 900 appearances with the Rossonero. 900 appearances is the most that any player of Milan ever done. This is a big coming to full circle. Historic isn’t it?

Probable Formations

Milan (probable): Dida; Zambrotta, Senderos, Maldini, Jankulovski; Flamini, Pirlo, Ambrosini; Seedorf; Kaka, F.Inzaghi.

Prediction

I say it is will be 1-0 to Milan but I am not quite sure about it, maybe just a draw. Milan coming not with the best shape with a coach who may sign in a different place while Udinese will do anything for a European spot next season as they come with good momentum. I really do not know.

What are you think the result will be?
