Today’s man is not anybody else but the legend Paolo Maldini. Maldini has retired from football last month and some reports saying that he will take charge over the youth department of AC Milan. He said he would not go to coaching like his father Cesare Maldini did before became Milan’s scout.

The first quote of 41-years-old-former Rossoneri player was about his true love to the club. “I am and I will always be a Milan fan, I have always given my best, and I feel I have deserved what I have achieved at this club,” this is part of what Maldini told to Sky Italia earlier today.
Reports suggest that Maldini, who apparently retired from football, could have a future as defender with Barcelona. Maldini told, “I am honoured regarding what Guardiola said, but I don’t think my future will be in Barcelona.”
Maldini will not share honor with the new AC Milan head coach Leonrdo. Meanwhile, after he retires, there is no captain to the team. Maldini said earlier this season that he thinks Kaka could be the captain, but as for now, he is at Real Madrid, far away from Italy or captaincy. “I believe Massimo could be the new Milan captain, but it will be down to Leonardo,” Maldini said.
“For Milan, it’s the end of an era,” Maldini said. “To think about winning the Champions League without Kaka is utopian.” Maldini has praised Kaka and said he is one of the best five in the world. He compares this situation with his own, when his captain Franco Baresi retired; he told he felt all lost. But Milan gave him the power to move on, especially Silvio Berlusconi’s words.
Seems like Paolo found a replacement to Kaka’s leading, just as Silvio he count on Dinho too. “Ronaldinho could become a leader, but it’s up to him. He has to take more responsibility,” Maldini said.
