NILMAR is the next name that has been coming up as reinforce for the summer up in the attack. But, this time the name has been mentioned in the Spanish press.
The 25-year-old Villarreal striker has attracted the interest of Italy giants AC Milan, according to the Spanish radio station Cadena Ser, as Nilmar, would love to play for the Rossoneri.
Nilmar is a former Internacional player, having scored 35 goals for them in two spells, once in 2002-2004 and the second during 2007-2009, in a total of 77 appearances for them.
Berlusconi: Mancini? Why!?
Overhaul: Vidic, Mongongu, Astori & Dzeko
The Brazilian has quick legs and goal-scoring eye. Those features, and many others, brought him all the way to Villarreal, who are maybe having tough times this year, but certainly one of Spain’s best clubs.
At the El Submarino Amarillo, he scored six goals in 15 matches, since he moved in the summer of 2009 to there. The player has a mean high, 1.80 meters of tall, but knows also to head well.
However, this is just a rumor and nothing more, while the Italian press believes that AC Milan, leading by Vice President Adriano Galliani, will try to sign Edin Dzeko (23) in summer.

Well, he’s welcomed! I like the player. I play with him a lot in FIFA 10
I prefer Dzeko. I don’t think we need Dzeko, but between these two, I’d take Edin… he’s better I believe, with all due respect to FIFA 10 Nahal…
Forza Milan. Bring both Dzeko & Nilmar. We wanted him last summer right?
@Capitaliao: Yes, I think so
I hope that’s true. More right to say: I wish that’s true and we’ll bring this great talent
I would always pick Nilmar over Dzeko, Nilmar is faster and more accurate. Dzeko is just having a moment thats all. As I have been paying attention, Dzeko is not the big star anymore, More its now Leverkusens Kiessling who is rising.
But I would prefer him over Dzeko for Milan. Dzeko is overrated.
