MILAN WON their fourth consecutive game, beating Catania 1-0 at Stadio San Siro on Sunday evening. The Rossoneri didn’t start the game too well and it was rather balanced but in the 23′ minute, Mario Balotelli earned a free kick – he passed the ball to Riccardo Montolivo whose powerful shot bounced off the pitch to beat Mariano Andújar. Milan were better after the goal and took control of the game but didn’t get too many good chances, with most of their efforts being shots from outside the box. Fabián Rinaudo got a red card in the 79′ minute and Catania were left with 10 man for the rest of the game. Milan couldn’t take advantage of the situation and it ended 1-0. Important points for il Diavolo.

D most important tin is d 3point
gradually we are gathering the pieces even though the team didn’t impress me much, they do the most important thing which is the three maximum point good job than, congrat guys.wish all the injured players a very speedy recovery.
in seedorf I believe,in milan I trust.
milan till I die…………….
Honda has proven himself to b better than Poli.
I wouldn’t compare Honda and Poli, they are so different.. I think they are both important
Not sure what you have been watching but Poli is the hardest worker on the entire Milan team and plays a multitude of positions. Honda always talks about how he doesn’t like playing on the right and prefers the center. You never hear Poli saying oh I don’t want to be RB or RW or CDM I prefer the middle. Poli is a huge asset for Milan.
Honda is attacking midfielder Poli is midfielder end of story!
We should ALL be happy with our recent results. I understand the constructive criticisms of our recent performances, but there should be very little negativity. -7 points: 1. De Jong’s contribution must be respected. What he does on the pitch does not gain him much glory, but he is world class. 2. Saponara has a bright future at Milan, and I hope Honda does as well, but Poli has EARNED his place while wearing a red and black jersey, along with Taarabt. 3. I doubted Taarabt before he joined us, so I will continue to apologize, the kid is gifted.… Read more »
If you ever doubted Honda was better than Poli, something is wrong with you. Just because a guy a has a bit of trouble adapting to Italian football doesn’t mean his quality just disappears. Russian football is a different game, and Honda flourished there, but I’m sure it wasn’t always so easy. Soon, Honda will show a similar level of class to his Russian league days.
Poli, however, barring severe injuries, has more years to play than Honda. I hope he can earn a place as Milan returns to class.
which one do u want? Milan still in italy and trying to reform d italian football or milan moving to premier league so they can increase their revenue?
wow, terrlble. awefull starting 11, at home against bottom of the league Catania and Seedorf does not have the guts to play Gabriel, Saponara or Cristante. In fact Cristante is not even on the bench, why??? He is not injured. Abate on for Poli (constantly played out of position!!!) So was Abate playing as an attacking right midfielder? Why is Saponara constantly overlooked? There is nothing to play for and again Seedorf has not let any of the youth that may have a future at the club get ready for next season. What is his problem? Has he no forward… Read more »
QUOTE OF THE WEEK FROM SEEDORF YESTERDAY
“I’d prefer the likes of Cafu and Serginho on the flanks, but we don’t have them! Bonera has brought great balance to the side, Constant is a midfielder, Emanuelson has played as a full-back a few times in his career, but we don’t really have a left-back.
Taarabt definitely has the skills to become a great asset for Milan. But I think we could have more goal scoring situations if he could have given the final pass to other players before shooting for the goal.
