VFL WOLFSBURG director has abolished reports in the Italian media, reporting he had sat with Milan representative to open-up a dialogue over Edin Dzeko future.
Reports on the Italian press suggested on Friday morning that AC Milan had a breakthrough concerning Dzeko’s transfer, as some representative of the club sat with the German club director, Dieter Hoeness to talk about Edin.
They were seen at ‘Giannino’ restaurant on Wednesday, where Milan hold the majority of discussions over transfer targets. It seems like Milan have lined up a bid for the Bosnian international, but Hoeness denies the meeting.

Dzeko Wants Milan Only
“There is nothing true,” the director told German press agency SID, as reported by La Repubblica.
The Italian press reported that Milan were willing to spend €40m on Edin – €25m in cash, and the rest €15m is in replace to Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (who is estimated to have this value.
Nonetheless, it was reported earlier on Friday that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar held a meeting with the Rossoneri over his future, when he demands to play more and see if he part of Leonardo’s plans.
The Dutch striker joined Milan from Real Madrid for 15m Euros this summer, and got only 11 chances to show his worth, as he scored three goals in all occasions, when in most of them came on as a late sub.
Milan were in touch with Edin Dzeko all summer and he was their no. 1 target for the market. However, they could not get him as he was too expansive, and they bought Huntelaar instead.

AC Milan need you Edin!! PLEASE COME
Edin is not required! we have Borriello and Huntelaar, Zigoni and Di Gennaro.
I really despise Dzeko now. We wanted him in the summer but he decided to stay. So now he is crying that he wants to be at Milan. I hate it how Borriello does not get even counted for. We have Borriello, Pato, Huntelaar, Inzaghi, Zigoni, and the new recruit from Ghana. We don’t need dzeko, we need to reinforce the Midfield and defense. Let HUNTELAAR Play, he has scored with every team he has played with. He has a better reputation than Dzeko. Hunt was the 4 times Dutch player of the year, and scored at least 30+ goals… Read more »
