Your comment is hard to follow, it reads like poli and SES got on the score sheet. SES scored our first two and Petagna scored our third before the end of first half. Vergara, Poli, Petagna, SES all had a decent game. (I think even Muntari had surprisingly good performance as he played parts in most of our goals). Calm down we lose 3-5 but we are using a lot of young unexperience players and we should be proud with the score line it could be worse like 5-0,6-1 so the one that should be a shame is man.city

The entire defense was awful! Zaccardo, Antonini,and Constant was terrible. Vergara is still a long way from being a starter. That means Milan need a worldclass center back this season. Only Astori seem affordable..Too bad we didn’t get Mehdi Benatia! El Sharaawy showed today he has to play in the midfield or as a striker and not out wide like last season. Astori isn’t a worldclass center back. Same goes for Ranocchia. They are good defender, but they are not worldclass and world beater as many of you are making them out to be. Ranocchia is slow and he has sporadic performances when playing.
Man City played with full squad and I think it wasn’t bad result as we scored 3 goals! Forza Milan.
People need to stop calling for peoples head over one friendly match and stop talking nonsense acting like they have football management experience. Galliani knows what he is doing more than any of you giving your suggestions on who milan should sign and what formations should be played. This was our second full pre season game.. Well said, not to mention the fact that Man City played almost their strongest possible team, only Aguero and Kompany were missing from the starters.

On paper they should be 5 times better.
Milan played with the reserves and youth players, City played with almost all of their best players. Milan were beaten by money, but it’s okay.
We should really invest in a top center back if we want to have a chance of qualifying for CL let alone winning the Scudetto. And I’m talking about better than Mexes and Zapata type of center back. Vergara is a good youngster. He has very good physical presence and is not short on confidence considering his age and his debut. I didn’t watch the game because I’m on my vacation and chillin’ in Turkey, but I would like to put forward some point of views. I’ve said this for several seasons, even when Ibra was still in the club and Boa was scoring pretty goals: Boateng isn’t a treqaurtista. He’s too static and he isn’t classy enough to either control the tempo or like Kaka, inject explosiveness and directness into our attacks. I think this shows that we lack that necessary quality in depth, and I hope Galliani realizes it. We do need one more top centre back, because if one of Mexes and Zapata are gone, we are pretty done for in the CB-department. Doubt it with Silvestre’s signing, but you never know though. A new midfielder, perhaps Luiz Gustavo, would be a huge injection to our midfield, and it would help our defence a lot. I just saw the highlight, milan were bad due to three stupid mistakes made by Amelia, and then the rest were defensive. After those 5 goals milan was pretty good , several chanxes were missed for equaliser. Boteng should improve his shootibg skills and I prefer to sell him. Gabrial is our second gk for sure, amelia is bad. Sharawi is doing well and his spirit seems to be back. Hope Honda can join us to close the gap between our middle and front lines.
I expected more from Amelia. This is Milan, not some low class team! Why can’t we have the goal scoring attitude since the beginning? It doesn’t matter if it was a friendly or not. I am sure if we had won, we wouldn’t tell everyone that “oh, it was just a friendly match.” We need to work on the defense. And Silvistre isn’t the solution.
Milan were so shaky in the first 36 minutes, with zaccardo, amelia, and traore must take responsibilities for that result.
for the start of 36 to 45 and 45 to 85, we leveled up, and maybe, just maybe if we’re lucky enough we would beat- or at least draw – them.
Relax guys! It’s just friendlies, and this result is better than if we won and we’ve become so cocky!

It’s like us being bullied by Man.City 2/3 of the Games makes me proud of the “Youngster” (exclude Antonini, Zaccardo,Traore, Amelia) sorry to say this 4 are far below Milan’s Class. I’m watching entire live match, this is my opinion :
GK : Gabriel is better than Amelia for reflect and courage
DF : no leader in our backline without Mexes, poor coordination, esc in offside trap.
MF : no creative midfield entire match. I think Monty and Poli should play together to keep more passing.
FW : lethal weapon if given more support from midfield. El Sha and Petagna is very dangerous.

We actually played pretty good. Our defence was terrible, but attacking part of our game was really positive. El Shaarawy scored 2, Petagna scored again, Poli was great, Boateng too…
We should still get rid of Antonini, Traore, Emanuelson and Nocerino and buy 1-2 really good defenders. I would go for Santon and for center back, I’m not so sure… Astori, Martins Indi, Rojo… I really don’t know…
We did good considering the line up.. I think WE can challenge Juve for the scudetto, but for the UCL WE need that squad depth..
The match only shows lot of reasons why some players will never become 1st team player for this team. Am so sorry to mention names like Amelia, Traore among others.
Amelia should be relegated to 3rd choice while Traore should please be sold (NOT LOANED) not to mention is ridiculous wages
My overall conclusion after watching the game again. Having a solid first team will win you games and not a championship, the team with best first 11 and DEPTH IN SQUAD wins championships. This game clearly exposed Milan as a club with a very good first team without depth in squad therefore with our current squad Milan cannot win Serie A or CL. Our best bet is Italian cup because that can be won with CHARACTER To fix our depth problem, we need an equally reliable center back, CDM to replace De-Stroyer in case of injury, and of course HONDA.… Read more »
Exactly, that’s what I keep on saying, with those three signings we would be really good. Our quality in depth would increase significantly by “only” three more quality signings! I’d say Luiz Gustavo, to rotate with De jong would be a great coup. He’s brazilian (they often do well at Milan), young, experienced for his age and is very good in the defensive part of the game.

I’m just happy el faronne is back on the scoresheet but come to think of it with this spirit elsha is showing upfront combined with balotelli’s power…..mehn our strike force would be mouthwatering this season. I think all milan needs is 3 signings in honda,ljalic and a good CB this could cover us for the season. But I think one of milan’s problem is allegri he has poor defensive tactics and lacks attacking plans #forza milan.
