SIMONE FOLLETTI says he’s found the players in a better physical condition than last year and praises Mario Balotelli.
The journalist Carlo Pellegatti said last week that Milan are working so hard in training that the players struggle to walk to the lunch room because of cramping legs and according to Milan’s athletic coach, the boys have been training well.

Galliani on Robinho, Honda, El Shaarawy, Inter and more…
“The players are back from their vacation, and they’re in very good condition. Certainly better than last year. Actually, I will say that I have never had the players such a good condition and so ready and available,” Simone Folletti, who joined Milan in 2010, told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “Working with high intensity is not a new thing, but we introduced it earlier this year.
“To be precise, we started training with high intensity 12 days earlier than we did in the past 2 years. We’re controlling the progress of the training sessions more strictly, and we’re also working on strength. We’re not worried about the players who were on international duty. They will follow a personalized program, and they will be the same condition as the rest of players for the Champions League play-offs. I’m not worried about player exhaustion when we reach the end of next year.
“Our objective is to maintain a medium-high performance level throughout the entire season. The average age of the squad is now lower, and that makes the recovery time shorter. Mario Balotelli? (PSG’s) Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the strongest and most powerful athletes that I’ve ever seen, and Balotelli is a worthy replacement for him,” added the 41-year-old Italian.
Milan played one training game so far this summer but tomorrow they will take on Juventus and Sassuolo in the Trofeo TIM. Milan will play a 45-minute game against the champions of Italy and the team that won the Italian Serie B last year.
Hopefully all of our players maintain good fitness, and improve their Stamina, Milan will do well in the Trofeo TIM, and as always……FORZA MILAN!!
whatzup with traore? He keeps scoring during training.
Positive air … Good for d team … Forza Milan
Let him keep scoring, he has no choice other than to leave Milan..even if he does stays after the summer market,i trust he won’t smell the artificial grass on the pitch b4 packing his baggages in winter transfer. Honestly, i wouldn’t want Urby28 to be shown the exit door.. This guy is better than Constant at the Left Wing Back, he has what it takes to improve in that position.. I’m only worried about Marco Amelia and Traore and Antonio Nocerino.. Sulley Muntari on the other hand is not my kind of Milan Midfielder.. #Jokes:: I’ll like to see Kobe… Read more »
Hmmm…. Not arguing that Emmanuelson isn’t good at the left wing back, but Constant did a good job converting to that position and he’ll only get better at it and I’m sure if Emmanuelson stays on, Constant will get more playing time in that position than him.. I think personally, you just don’t dig Constant.. Just my opinion…!
very optimistic about honda arriving in this mercato :)
Any update abt HONDA?
People are screaming about Honda…
We must strenghten our defence…
I hope Honda comes now… We need a great CB, not good, but great…
If Galliani does not see this, he should be transferlistet…
A medium-high performance level throughout the season isn’t good enough. Milan MUST be world class. But I guess it’s hard when you have players like Traoré in your team… we definitely need Honda now, and we definitely need a great centre back as well. As soon as we get Honda, Galliani should move on working for a centre back. And get rid of dead weight…
Milan should get Ricky Alvarez, Juan Jesus, Ranocchia. Gabriel, De Sciglo-Zapata-Ranocchia-Juan, Montolivo-De Jong-Poli, Alvarez, Balotelli-El Shaarawy.
Honda will arrive latest friday this week and a reliable center back will be signed after passing through the CL playoff in August. QUOTE ME!!
Come on Milan sell Abate 15mln to Arsenal than offer 15mln plus Robinho for Vital Dede. Than sell Antonini, Flamini, Emanuelson an Traore and we could get around 7mln than add 5mln and offer 13mln for Fabio Coentrao. Than sell Boateng 15mln and offer 10mln for Mirko Vucinic and offer 5mln plus Noccerino for Ricky Alvarez. And offer 8mln for Rene Adler and our team would be: Adler, De Sciglo-Dede-Zapata-Coentrao, Montolivo-De Jong-Alvarez, Vucinic-Balotelli-El Shaarawy. I would bet that we could win Serie A or even more UCL.
Wow….!!! Wonder if you’ve been following the transfer market… You’ve been playing too much football manager lately… All these can only happen in your DREAM….!!! LOFL
We cannot sell Flamini…
His contract kind of expired…
But if YOU can sell him, then be my guest…LOL!!!
Are you paying any attention at all?…
Honda is the least of our problems. He will soon sign. I still think we should sign a super defender like Vidic. He may not fit in our youth policy but we need him to give an example to players like Amu33 (his new number). In any case I do like Cirinches and is worth around 6.5M from Bucarest Steau. Eriksen is linked heavily with AC and is said that already agreeing terms of a 4 year deal and Milan may already be ready to splash out 15M or around 7+URBY. I’d love to see Ljajic join and Robinho leaving… Read more »
