MILAN WILL use their last non-EU slot to sign one of Carlos Tevez and Keisuke Honda according to the press.
The Rossoneri will not make any signings before players leave the club according to Vice President Adriano Galliani but it’s clear that Milan already have their targets and some of these targets are already confirmed, like Man City’s Carlos Tevez.
It’s believed that Milan have already agreed terms with Tevez – €5.5 million per season plus bonuses for three seasons but they face competition from Juventus for the Argentine striker and it’s said that Juve are set make an official bid.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus’ Giuseppe Marotta will fly to Manchester next week to offer €10 million for Tevez. Gazzetta states, however, that Manchester are willing to wait for Milan to make a bid as the two clubs have a great relationship as Milan signed a Manchester City player in 2010 (Robinho), 2012 (Nigel De Jong) and 2013 (Mario Balotelli).
il Corriere dello Sport suggests that if Milan lose the race to sign Tevez, they will turn their intentions towards CSKA Moscow attacking midfielder Keisuke Honda. Honda, 27 (two years younger than Tevez) has made it clear that he wants to leave CSKA and with his contract expiring in January 2014, his price should be €6-7 million. Even if they wanted to, Milan are not able to sign both Honda and Tevez as they only have one non-EU slot left after signing the Colombian Jherson Vergara.
The Rome-based newspaper also reports that Milan want Andrea Ranocchia in exchange for Antonio Nocerino, who is a wanted man at Inter. Yesterday the Milano-based paper reported that Milan want Ricky Alvarez for the midfielder.

That line up is pretty good. I think though that two tngs are very clear. We dont have enough good midfielders to play this system. Poli instead of flamini would make it decent. And also we are in dire need of a reliable cb. Not sure ran is the guy we need. I would prefer someone with more pace.

Honda is the better option in my view, taking nothing away from Tevez as we all know what a beast he can be, but he’s almost 30 and can only be a short term solution. If you aren’t convinced over Honda then I suggest you watch the Japan/Italy match again & again.

Milan should get Honda for several reasons…
1. We need to strengthen our midfield and add more creativity there especially if Allegri is going back to 4-3-1-2 formation
2. Honda is younger then Tevez, can also score from free kicks, is left footed, and is not crazy
3. One thing that hasnt been brought up is Honda has a huge fan base in Japan, getting him on our team will increase our fan base in the region

Yep it goes without saying Honda is a better option, it also goes without saying that B&G would rather wait till January than pay €6m every time. By then of course a club who actually does business will have signed him. If by some miracle he does sign I really wish we’d play a 4-2-3-1 with Honda on the right and Saponara in the middle but I know they insist on a prehistoric 4-3-1-2. They must realise that Honda would MAKE them money as he is essentially Asia’s David Beckham.

– I think, an exchange plan which involved Ranocchia and Nocerino would be smart move. Milan need more solid centre back as Mexes and Zapata still display some unconvincing performances.
– A pursuit for Honda’s signature will also do good, I mean Milan need such innovative attacking midfielder who has flexibility in playing on central or both flanks positions and possesses prowess in keeping the ball as well as delivers precise passing or crosses to Balotelli.
