ANDREA POLI is a target of Milan but the Rossoneri haven’t closed to deal yet with the club from Genova.
Adriano Galliani stated last night that “we might be interested in Poli if someone leaves the club first” and it’s clear that the player has been a Rossoneri target for quite a while as coach Massimiliano Allegri really thinks highly of the player.
Poli’s contract expires in 2014 and he has already agreed his Milan terms according to the media but Milan appear to be in no rush to close the deal. Sampdoria director Carlo Osti wants to hurry Milan up, claiming the player could end up staying.
Galliani: “No Milan signings if we don’t sell”
Report: Inter want Nocerino, Milan ask for Alvarez in exchange
“What is missing to close to deal with Milan? Nothing is missing on our part, we can also keep Poli. He’s an excellent player, an international and if he remains we’ll be happy,” Osti told the website Milannews.it. “It’s not a question to ask us, but Milan. If Sampdoria will accept players in the deal? We’ll see, at this time there are no negotiations about that, the future will tell.”
Poli’s price is believed to be €6 mil but Milan are reportedly set to offer them Bartosz Salamon on loan to lower the price. It was reported that Samp would want M’Baye Niang instead but Galliani said “Sampdoria haven’t asked us for Niang.”

We are becoming a joke in football.
