Injuries: Muntari ruled out for 5-6 months

SULLY MUNTARI has been ruled out for five to six months after suffering a knee injury.

Muntari joined Milan from Inter on a loan deal in January as the Rossoneri were in need for midfielders and the player broke into Massimiliano Allegri’s starting XI straight away following solid performances.

Muntari played a key part in the Scudetto struggle as his ghost goal against Juventus may cost the Rossoneri the title. But Milan will have to deal with Muntari for months as he got injured yesterday.

On the same night Ukraine scored a ghost goal against England in the Euro which cost them a place in the next stage, Muntari picked up an injury while playing with friends on the beatch. Milan have confirmed today that “Muntari underwent surgery for the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.”

The surgery was “successful” and “the recovery time is around five to six months, excluding complications.” Milan have already found a replacement to Muntari – Genoa’s 25-year-old midfielder Kevin Constant.

is he a milan player, or is he on loan for the rest of the year.

if he is on loan, just send back 2 inter then

It’s not official yet but he will sign a 2-year deal with Milan.. we can’t send him back to Inter as his deal with them expires in 10 days.

Is this a curse? Who is kevin constant. I have never see him play before. Is he in the starting XI of Genoa.

Ibrahimovic 11#

Konstant is often in the starting eleven, but its not easy to say if he is a average squad player or better, he is quite good in which case

Benjo

I saw constant play for chievo against juve a few years ago, he was really young and talented but after that i never heard about him, Lets hope he prove himself as a great player, now i think he is 25

He is 25, and apparently Milan has NOT signed Muntari because of his serious knee injury, but they are quite simular in ther style of playing

I don’t understand if this article is about GHOST GOALs or injuries to players. whatever may be the scenario it doesn’t change the fact that we are second best in Serie A and why does Ukraine’s ghost goal pop u here when Balotelli’s or Ibra’s superb Volley haven’t made news. With due respect to Meytar Zeevi .The article doesn’t make sense while you try to connect Muntari’s injury to ghost goals. Do you just find comfort in saying Milan lost the title because of the Ghost goal. We failed badly and we should accept that and move on. Things happen… Read more »

muntari is a good player but we can take risk to put a player who is injured to our team while we want to compete in every competition so he should be punished
