ON PAPER, it should have been an easy game, but Massimiliano Allegri decided to rest some of his stars for the mid-week Copa Italia game. Stephan El Shaarawy, who was Milan’s best man , pleased the manager with a great strike after 24 minutes putting Milan in front. Ivan Radovanovic scored in the 89′ minute and sent the game to extra time. Robinho and Alexandre Pato, who were subbed in during the regular 90 minutes of play combined well and the young Duck scored the winner in the 100′ minute.

if cassano would be fit now, we shouldn’t sell pato or Robinho, but Ibrahimovic. when i see this match, milan plays much more balanced. with ibra every ball goes to him. please don’t think that i dislike ibra, i like him very much, but milan should play not with Ibrahimovic as the central of the pitch
We played against novara…ibra is still key player in out attack, because his primary job is nit scoring, but assist
Inzaghi missed some chances . Pato too . Merkel was good i like dat he was very mobile . Stephan was great .at times a bit flambuoyant but he has a very quick wit .
El Shaarawy was amazing,he’s just the right man we need to speed things up and open up play.
I hope Allegri finally has the confidence to play him in big games.
I didnt watch this match, but after watching this highlights, amazing. So many opportunities,el shaarawy is amazing, cassano replacement,i dont know why we are looking replacement for him,is no need.I cant say anything about merkel, but allegri said that merkel will be important player.BTW trio robinho pato el shaarawy look very good.
Wud take more than dat to convince a gud manager . Hope merkel brings a spark to the mf .
1st) Sell Robinho, Taiwo, Bonera,Flamini, Seedorf,
2nd) Play El Shaarawy as a starter
3rd) Await Cassanos return
4th) Sign Ganso, Montolivo and Criscito
5th) Pull down Ibra
And then play like this:
—El Shaarawy——Pato——
————-Ibra————
Monty——-Ganso——–Boa
———–Nocerino———–
Criscito—Silva—Mexes—Abate
————Abbiati———–
Bench:

Hmm…..lets remove Ganso (cause I dont think we will sign him anyways)

Oh yeah is pato injured again?!
I believe so. There are rumors that he has a thigh strain! I honestly believe Pato will leave in the Summer. Sadly!
Ibra is the reason why Pato is not doing well. They simple just cannot play together!
An the most likely replacment will be Balloteli. Am not happy that Pato’s down fall is partly to do with Ibra.
great display by shaarawy and merkel, sad that we had to go to extra time because our schedule over the next few weeks is very congested.. at least this week we play novara who also had extra time =p
MVP MAN-FARAONE
shame on you Robinho, shame on you.
he is jealous because of Shaarawy.
@8.54 minute.
Sell Ibra? Oo..what? He is our best attacking player. SELL Pato and get someone who isnt so fragile.
This game was pretty good but it was Robinho who turned it around. We should have scored more… Like 3-1 or 4-1…
In my opinion, this is what we should do with Pato. He has enormous potential, but isn’t reaching it. We bought him for 24 mil. I say, keep him in january, for the cl list. Then, in the summer, loan him out to a smaller team in Italy, where he becomes the main point of attack. If he doesn’t improve there, he won’t improve anywhere. If this works, he’ll be about as good as ibra by the time he comes back, so I’m guessing we could even suggest paying half of his salary while he’s on loan. If this doesn’t… Read more »
I like Pato and he’s an amazing player when fit but something is wrong I don’t know what but maybe he’s not training enough and he’s not working on Muscle Injury Recovery or what’s really happening to him whether it’s physical or emotional or stress so I don’t know but it’s more than injury prone stuff that’s been said in this forum so maybe a change of club is essential to him. I think there are a lot of wrongs done in Milan cause even a legend like Paolo Maldini is upset about what’s happening and if Milan continue like… Read more »
No. Not at all. What’s happening in Milan is one of a closer team. Maldini complained about Gourcuff in the past, and I’m sure he would complain about Pato. Pato is lazy, and unlike his team mates he doesn’t work hard. What is happening? We have other strong hard working players… who fight for their position. Like Boateng, Abate, Nocerino…
