PIETRO LO MONACO claims he’s not aware of an agreement with Milan over Catania’s Maxi Lopez.
Catania President Lo Monaco says he does not know anything, in light of the Tuttomercatoweb report which suggested today (Friday), that Milan have chosen Maxi Lopez and already have an agreement.
This report also claimed that Carlos Tevez will be joining to Corinthians. However, the Rossazzurri Chairman is unaware of anything concrete, but admits he talks with Adriano Galliani about everything.

“We know nothing, there are always the same talks,” Lo Monaco told Milannews.it. “The position of Catania Calcio is clear and everyone knows what it is. Adriano Galliani and I are together at the Lega and we speak about a lot of things, also about Maxi Lopez, yes. Meetings with Milan? I do not know, nothing is planned.
“Would I recommend Galliani to buy Maxi? Giving advices to Galliani is the last thing I can do, as he is the most successful CEO in Italy. I can only say that Maxi is an important player, young and is a good prospect. Tevez? I honestly do not know what the strategies of Milan are. Tevez is a great player, but he has an important cost and he cannot play the Champions League. Milan already have important players upfront.”
TMW reported the deal is a short-loan and then an option to sign the player permanently for €6-7 million.
