Big clubs only can fund the transfer of Giuseppe Rossi

The future of Rossi is still uncertain; however, his agent has claimed it’s most likely for him to stay where he is

Villarreal second striker Giuseppe Rossi was linked with a move away from El Madrigal this summer. The clock is ticking fast and the player is yet to find another club – a thing he could do by easy. It not a bad for him or for Villarreal but a yellow shirt will see Rossi out also next year.

There were rumors claiming Juventus were after the 22-years-old, reports also suggest that Milan thought about this name as a replacement to Kaka or Andrea Pirlo who was linked with a move to Chelsea earlier this summer. His agent confirms contacts with the Old Lady, but none has happened with Milan.

“With Milan there have never been any negotiations, while Juventus tried to get the lay of the land when [sporting director Alessio] Secco came to Spain, but it ended with nothing,” Andrea Pastorello told tuttomercatoweb.

He also added that he does not believe his client will see a future abroad (outside Spain) next year, “I think it’s very unlikely that Rossi will move from Villarreal.”

Rossi would like to play again at Italy, after been there while playing for Parma two years ago on loan. He also wants to maintain himself a place in the Italian international team. But Pastorello warns all the teams, saying only certain teams are able to acquire Rossi due to his price-tag.

“The player wants to return to Italy, even if he is well in Spain. The cost of his transfer, however, is fairly high and he could only move to Inter, Juve and Milan in Italy or Real and Barcelona in Spain. We are prepared to only deal with teams of a higher level like these,” declared the representative.
