MILAN could eventually decide to replace Mathieu Flamini who is injured for 5 months.
Mathieu Flamini is suffering from a serious knee injury and will be sidelined for 5 months, and despite reports over the weekend, the Rossoneri could make one final move in the transfer market to replace him.

The first option for Milan seems to be Seydou Keita (31) of Barcelona. The former Sevilla player’s time this season is expected to be limited following the arrival of Cesc Fabregas and the improvement of Thiago. Other options who are direct replacement would be Lass Diarra (26) and Sami Khedira (23) of R. Madrid.
Jose Mourinho’s side still owe Milan €23 million following the Kaka sale (3rd installment). Adriano Galliani and Max Allegri, as well as a few media outlets, said the market is closed but there could be a surprise.
Lass would be great his the kind of player you wish your team had…

u expect Milan to be like man city : spending big without any megotiations at all. If man city was in our situation last year regarding buying ibraa from barcaa they would have spent 100 mil when we signed him for 24 mil
If we sign lass than we would be prepared for the knock outs with ganso likely arriving in jan after thhe club would cup and montolivo posibly in jan or next summer we would have a much yyounger midfield with many exceptional and top class players

Lassana diarra is 26 and still has many years ahead of him i think he would be a good squad player who would be a rotational player giving one of aquilani or boateng a rest.
He can also come on during the end of a game so we can maintain a win with an energetic and defensive player

Keita isn’t bad. Barcelona supporters think he is a good utility player. He always put in a lot of effort.
But there are other players we are linked with. We are said to have put an improved offer for Montolivo.
And what about the 3rd installment of Kaka’s transfer fee? It’ll be paid. End of story.

why are milan linked with players from la liga (specifically from barca and madrid)? why don’t milan track players from other league like bundesliga or ligue 1 (if milan have enough budget to strengthen their squad)? goetze or m’villa might be good to replace flamini and send him to the bench forever.
if we want to pay an extra 15m to the 23 they have to pay then 15+23=38m for kaka ( no that’s a lot)….. i would like it if from the 23m we get kaka for 15m and lass for 8(they pay us nothing, we pay nothing and get two great players, 15+8=23m)… we can get montolivo and ganso in jan…. wow amazing mercato… Forza Milan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we really need to replace flamini b4 the transfer deadline seeing that gatuso is serving a 4 match ban in the champions league. that means we have limited options in the midfield especially having to play barcelona. kieta

I like the idea of finding a suritbale replacement for flamini and as soon as I heard he was out for at leaast 5 months I knew Milan had to dip back into the market. And really we could get anyone who can play as a Right Midfielder or a player who can play as a Central Attacking Midfielder. If we get a RM there can be a direct replacement for Flamini while he’s out, otherwise if a deal for Kaka is possiblee, we move Prince back to RM where he can thrive and play Kaka behind the strikers.
