FIORENTINA have already found his replacement.
The Rossoneri seem to be closing-in on Fiorentina’s Riccardo Montolivo as the Viola have already signed Andrea Lazzari from Cagliari Calcio and reports are that they will also take Liverpool’s Alberto Aquilani.
Montolivo will leave the club sooner or later and La Nazione claims that Milan want to close the deal as soon as possible, perhaps even during the next week. But Milan wouldn’t meet Fiorentina demands.

This site is slow on updates, but Gazzetta is very wrong on that. Montolivo would be just another signing. There was an article in Corriere (if I recall correctly) talking about Mr X and Mr Y.
Corriere is far more credible then Gazzetta (which has lost a lot of its credibility in recent years). But I don’t think we’ll get Bastian. Some may attack me for that, but I’m just being honest. Now keep in mind Bastian isn’t Demichelis or some other expendable asset for Bayern. They’ll want to keep him like they kept Ribery.

I am very disappointed that we missed out on Arturo Vidal. Vidal is a much better signing than Montolivo! Vidal is a more versatile player who can play in Pirlo’s position or as a trequartista. I agree with most of it but sometimes when u see a bargain u must move for it ASAP.. two good examples are Ozil and Nuri Sahin.. Both were great bargains but i guess milan were late or didnt find them interesting enough.. but i would take 15m OZIL over 15m Robinho any day.. and 6m Sahin over 7m KPB anyday.. but thats my opinion people might disagree with me.

@ nick, i dont understand what all they hype about Vidal is, he’s not that good and he did not show that much in the Copa America. He’s a Juventus now, but even though he went there its not like Juventus will change that much, because Vidal isnt the type of player that can completely revitalize a midfield. De Rossi would be great, but only if he came instead of De Rossi. Our Mr.X needs to be a trequartista. With Boateng or Seedorf in this position Milan will not be serious contenders in the CL which is the club’s aim.

We got a good DM in MVB and out Captain Ambroisini.
