ALEXANDRE PATO will be sidelined for two to three weeks, as confirmed by Milan.
Milan get some bad news on Monday morning as it has been confirmed that Brazilian forward Pato will be on the treatment table for two to three weeks with an injury in his right thigh.
“Dr. Gianluca Melegati has announced that the player Alexandre Pato has undergone medical examinations that revealed a strained flexor in his right thigh. It requires a period of about 2 to 3 weeks to full recovery,” a statement on acmilan.com read.

Ibra and Cassano to lead Milan’s attack against Palermo
Alexandre had to come off against Sampdoria after 40 minutes and now Milan lose him for the important games against Palermo in the Coppa Italia, and the Serie A games against Brescia and Bologna.
Like the suspended Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he will return against Roma. Milan have already hinted that Giacomo Beretta from the Primavera could be called up for the next games to cover for Ibra and Pato.
Damn!!! How unlucky! I don’t expect him to play until a month, maybe only the last 2 games. Maybe even one game as I expect we will enter the last game against Udi with the Scudetto already in our hands.
I hope he recovers quickly, as we really need him now that Ibra stupidity is taking over and Robinho doesn’t know how to shoot, leaving only Cassano.

Oh and I think according to Milannews, Beretta may be called up for the Palermo game due to Pato’s injury.

bad news!!! but lets hope pato get well very soon n scoring again. i think this is the good time to try our primnavera (after what he did on recent games, beretta must play at least 1 match against brescia/bologna).. scudetto is already on front. forza MILAN!!!

Pato always injured.
I understand the disgust for Balotelli, but he’s still a wonderful footballer… in terms of talent. He needs an attitude adjustment for sure… but I think he could settle down at Milan.
Nobody said that Balotelli was better than Pato, Shervin. Stop lying. All I said is I thought the two could work well together in a strike duo. But… Pato is injury prone… you have to admit that.
If Balotelli could get his attitude under control, he could become Pato’s perfect partner.
Balotelli’s exceptional. He’s a nut case though, but so is Cassano,Ibra,Gattuso,Boateng,and Van Bommel..haha
