SOKRATIS PAPASTATHOPOULOS could leave Milan already after one year.
The Greek defender hasn’t found space in Milan and according to Milannews.it, Papastathopoulos will leave the via Turati club already this summer, and will also leave Italy.
The 22-year-old joined Milan from Genoa but failed to impress Coach Massimiliano Allegri in trainings and when was given a chance in the starting XI so he’s expected to leave after only one year.

Luciano Spalletti’s Zenit showed interest in signing the player in January but Adriano Galliani suggested that he won’t be moving. However, a summer move is likely as Sokratis wants first-team football.
There are also reports that Bari, Lecce and even Napoli would be interested in the services of defender. Mario Yepes could also leave in the summer, as Milan want to rejuvenate their squad next year.

Sokratis is utter rubbish, a terrible defender. That Russian club can have him for free to be honest. As for Yepes, he can go as well, although he has been pretty solid. About time our management looks for the future.

Papa is fast, strong, a fighter….but are those qualities needed for a defender? Nesta isn’t fast, strong, or a fighter like Gattuso. Defenders need positioning sense before all the other stuff. All the other stuff is a plus, but cannot replace defensive positioning sense. And frankly, papa has one of the worst positioning senses I’ve seen. Bonera has better sense than him. Hell, Kaladze had a better positioning sense. That is why I want Allegri to adapt him to a defensive midfielder position. He could be the next Gattuso. The only problem with Papa is allegri.
How could he improve if he wouldn play? CB is a tricky position and needs time.
Look Lovren at Lion, Vidic at MU, Ivanovic at Chelsea and so on. Neither of them was briliant in first game. Thay all strugle at the begining but given a chance. Look now. You must belive in young players.
