ANTONIO CASSANO could wear the shirt of Milan according to reports in the peninsula.
AC Milan are looking for a replacement to Filippo Inzaghi and il Corriere dello Sport believes that they will pounce on Sampdoria’s Antonio Cassano.
A decision regarding Cassano’s contract could be taken tomorrow, and afterwards, he will become a free agent. Many clubs, however, have already announced they won’t try to sign the 28-year-old.
Rino Gattuso to miss Roma with injury
Thiago Silva & Pato to return in January
Cassano hasn’t played for a while now, but the quality of the player is unquestionable. The second-striker could join any team for no costs.
Juventus wrote themselves off the race for Cassano, and it appears that the main competition will be between AC Milan and Inter Milan.
If Cassano joins Milan, it may be the beginning of the end for Ronaldinho.

Casanno comes in , immediately favored by Allegri, Ibra hates this , theres a dip in form ,Milan start going down the table. Dressing room is confused. Pathetic conditions arise. Someone with a big grin watches the whole comic road show and touches his heart to say I AM SO RELIEVED.
yeah finally cassano is coming were he belongs I really hope we get him his ability to open the game up and create chances is wonderfull can’t wait to see ibra pato cassano behind the strikers nobody can hold those 3 up front we need him sell ronaldinho Milan will be great again
I still love The flick and tricks of Ronaldinho.. But there is no place for a lazy guy in Milan.. so, arrivederci Dinho! Seedorf may join you as well
Velcome to the Limit !!!
Cassano is one of the best strikers in the serie A. My biggest concern is his behaviour. I still prefer Paloschi over him.
guys i dont know i am kind of concerned about this, i mean the reason seedorf and recently boateng replaced dinho in attacking midfield is because they are MIDFIELDERS, they work better for the midfield and support attack when needed, cassano is a great forward option, but i dont know if playing him behind the strikers and leaving a 3 man midfield will be a good idea. the other option is he comes in the forward rotation to replace inzaghi, but keeping in mind izaghi as great as he was, was 4th choice striker, cassano will not be ahead of… Read more »
I say get cassano and dump ronaldinho like garbage !!!
This is not going to work with Cassano because he is not attacking forward he is central striker like totti who plays really just behind the strikers there will be no tracking back from him. Not suitable in my opinion unless he is willing to give up on a starting spot, then I welcome him to AC Milan
Nag I really don’t want him and ibra and robinho in te same team besides robinho is playing the best he ever has rote now and he’s young s we don’t want to waste that. Still let dinho go. rather just buy a decent backup striker that can take ibras place in a few years and we also have Verdi. Cassano is a great player
Cassano. I think he’s matured enough right now. And he’s not make a lot of problem like he used to be (in Bari and Roma). So, go get him Milan! . Cassano is better than Dinho right now. Afterall Cassano wage is not expensive like Dinho, and i know when Cassano play he’ll be usefull than Dinho.
I dont see the point in getting Cassano. He is a cancer to any team he goes to! Lippi knew this in 2006. Right now, Milan are confident and in form, plus Pato is gonna be back in January. Why ruin it? Id much rather see Milan sign a fullback, possibly Criscito, when the window opens up.
It would be stupid decision to buy Cassano… We don’t need more first team forwards… We need someone like Paloschi who can mature and play when Ibra needs the rest… If we sell Ronaldinho, then we need a real playmaker, a fantasista… someone like Ganso, Kaka or Lamela…
And we should definately rejuvenate defensive part od our team. It’s time to say goodbye to Bonera, Jankulovski, Oddo & Onyewu, and to purchase someone younger, faster and stronger like Cissokho, Astori, David Luiz, De SIlvestri, Criscito (not all of them of course :) )
I think Cassano would be great for Milan. If Milan get Cassano trust my word we are definitely winning the Serie A and more. Cassano along with Di Natalie is the most consistent Italian player around and always uplift their team. Milan would not be so dependent on Ibra if Cassano comes.
If not Cassano we need Rogelio Funes Mori for the striker, Lamela or Aturo Vidal-I prefer Vidal and Coates for defense.
To all Milanisti Pato is injury prone. He has huge potential but he is always injured. We have seen these types of players before at Milan. I honestly expect this is Pato’s last season in Milan as he is constantly injured just when he is about to hit top form. Cassano in Dinho out in January. Balotelli in Pato out in June/July.
