Tommaso Pobega will play at least the next season at Bologna, reuniting with Vincenzo Italiano.
Milan considered Pobega surplus to requirements and the Italian midfielder leaves the club in search for consistent playing time.
He goes to Bologna, who play in the Champions League this season, and he will work again with coach Vincenzo Italiano after their spell together at Spezia in 2020-2021. Bologna have an buy-out option at €12m.
“Milan can confirm that Tommaso Pobega has joined Bologna FC on loan with the option to make the deal permanent. The Club would like to wish Tommaso all the best for this season,” a statement reads.
